We enjoyed our stay. The hotel and our room was very clean and welcoming. Everyone was very helpful. We met Patricia Mullen and she was very friendly and made us feel at home. Our only issue was the breakfast. We would have liked a waffle or some fruit but what we had was very good. I would recommend anyone to stay here. We had no problems with noise from the highway or the hallway. Very quiet.

“Comfortable for a Night”

We spent one night at the Spark by Hilton in Killeen when on the way to Austin. Paid using Hilton points, but the cash price with taxes would have been about $100, while hotels in Austin were completely full or going for much higher than usual rates. We spent one night at the Spark by Hilton in Killeen when on the way to Austin. Paid using Hilton points, but the cash price with taxes would have been about $100, while hotels in Austin were completely full or going for much higher than usual rates. The hotel was perfectly fine for that price point; we knew to expect a basic room. It has a few interesting features: comfortable bed and soft sheets, a shelf instead of nightstand, no dresser, but a decent desk with a pull-out section which about doubles the workspace, a full-sized closet with exactly three hangers. No ice bucket in the room, but there’s an ice machine in the lobby. I used one of the paper bowls from the breakfast buffet to carry ice. The shower is good, but the bathroom light is annoyingly tied to the light switch. The A/C works well and adjusts easily. The Bagel Bar for breakfast was simple but enough to get us going: bagels, four types of cold cereal, one flavor of instant oatmeal, one flavor of yogurt, apple juice, and a few more things I have forgotten now. We’ll be happy to stay again when in the area.
