We are repeat customers of this property for a number of reasons: 1. The property is very well maintained in all of the public space the grounds and the entrance to all of the guest rooms. 2. While this is an older property, it is very well maintained in all of the guestroom areas, including the bathroom and the ventilation system. This is not the rule necessarily with many hotels of various ages. 3. The staff is always friendly, accommodating, and sincerely, wanting the guests to enjoy their stay

We have stayed at the Swiss clock in at least six more times in the last three years traveling across country. The staff is always very nice at the front desk, the rooms are good size and very well maintained. The renovation that seems to be ongoing is appreciated.

“Overpriced for what it is”

I had the misfortune of staying the night of Valentine’s Day, and my room was very close to the restaurant. The restaurant was packed so lots of traffic and people noise until late in the night. I had the misfortune of staying the night of Valentine’s Day, and my room was very close to the restaurant. The restaurant was packed so lots of traffic and people noise until late in the night. Also, the birds in the trees that line the road are crazy loud and will wake you up in the morning. I checked in at approx 6pm and was told the birds would quiet down by 9pm. They did, and then started up before 6am. It’s nice that the motel is pet friendly, but the dog walk area was a ridiculously small strip of grass maybe a foot wide that ran down the length of the parking lot next to the fence. If you travel with a dog, walk or drive over to the dog park behind the Best Western. The rooms are outdated (no extra power outlets or USB plugs) and if you stay on a weekend, you’ll need to walk to the Best Western Plus next door for breakfast, which was really good! All in all, the room was clean and it wasn’t the hotel’s fault the restaurant patrons were loud. But the noisy birds and lack of a real dog walk area, along with the outdated room, will make me look elsewhere in the future.

“Don’t park under the trees!!!!!”

The room was clean, front desk was great. Word of warning though. We were driving cross country, towing a u haul and advised to park very conveniently under the trees by our room. OMG, woke up to something from a horror movie. Every bird, from within a hundred miles, took a poop on our car. People … lisää

The room was clean, front desk was great. Word of warning though. We were driving cross country, towing a u haul and advised to park very conveniently under the trees by our room. OMG, woke up to something from a horror movie. Every bird, from within a hundred miles, took a poop on our car. People on the rest of our drive were pointing and laughing. Not the hotel’s fault, but those birds!!!!!
