We chose this location for a staycation because it was close to where our granddaughter lives with her parents and we were planning to celebrate her birthday. Everything was great! The only drawback was having to go outside each morning to get to the breakfast area and it was super cold outside. Maybe when it’s cold outside, breakfast can be served til 11am so it will be a little warmer outside.

“Great staff but dated facilities, and poor breakfast.”

Needs a refresh. Mattresses were too soft and beds were sloped. Missing sheets for pullout but staff brought to room upon request. Drains in showers were both slow. Breakfast offerings included brown bananas, not hot water for tea, sketchy muffins and suspect sausages along with other things. Staff… lisää

Staff was very responsive but they need better materials to work with.

I do this a lot! I am real forgiving and I do not write bad reviews unless I have to. This isn't one of them, but it isn't as positive as I would like it to be either. First, location is good. I do this a lot! I am real forgiving and I do not write bad reviews unless I have to. This isn't one of them, but it isn't as positive as I would like it to be either. First, location is good. Shopping is close by and pretty good access for getting around. The front counter is a bit beat up. The carpet looks a bit tired, makes you worry about the rest. Lady who checked me in was nice, but seemed a bit inexperienced. I thought I was going to get an upgrade as well (I have a high status) but did not. I do not go into it expecting one, but she kind of made me think I was, and it was a let down when I got to the room. But again, not expected, but bummer. That being said, the fold out couch mattress is pretty bad as was the bedding. We got more and such, but again, a little disappointing. The upkeep seems to be lax on the details. One that makes me crazy is when the AC outlets are all loose! I again, am nitpicking, but I think people want to know these things. I will not book here again when my daughter is traveling with me for the couch reason alone. Oh, also the TV's are not the ones you can stream your services on, ugh! Value for price was good, but maybe the upkeep and lack of current cool things is why?

I have stayed here a few times, This is such a beautiful property. I love the layout and location of the hotel. The staff is great. This last time I stayed for 5 nights, my back and knees were killing me when I left. The bed was too soft and a bit lumpy, there wasn't a decent chair to sit on when spending time in the room and the A/C could not keep up with the Texas heat. The property is so beautiful, the location is very peaceful and the staff were great. I hope they can update the rooms with some decent furniture

It's quiet, clean, and reliable. 3 stars instead of 4 because : 1) it's dated (albeit well-maintained) 2) it's workout area is one of the worst of any hotel I've stayed - it looks like they crammed exercise equipment into a small office space as an afterthought In May I was there for the first time since August 2021 and they completely overhauled the breakfast to grab and go - while the selections weren't bad, it's a definite step down from the hot buffet served for many years.
