5 out of 5! This place is my first choice every time. The owners of this awesome place are so nice! The location is perfect, rooms are always cozy, and they are just a text away (and always answer very accommodating)!! Book early because it fills up quick.

If I could give more stars, I would. Pawel went above and beyond accommodating my family on relatively short notice of our stay. Having grown up in Blacksburg and being a VT Alum I cannot think of- or even imagine- a better place to stay. With some luck and Pawel's hard work, enough rooms were available. We had 3 rooms in the main house and 2 in the Magnolia. Pawel even had one the rooms completed we could have the number of rooms needed. For my family reunion, Bburg BnB was far superior to a single home. We were able to congregate in different areas or all together depending on inevitable fluctuations of personal needs/moods. There were other guests in both houses for short periods of time. This was not a problem for us- and hopefully not for them. Having a kitchen is a must for us. In the future we will plan farther in advance and reserve the entire Magnolia or Dogwood House with additional rooms as needed. That way we can be sure not to disturb other guests when gathering. I see some guests have been frustrated with the key pad entry because it is hard to see. If one touches a bottom corner the key pad illuminates and it is easy to read the numbers. I loved the accessibility and not needing to keep track of a key, The pool is pristine and heated. Surrounding deck is spacious with plenty of seating, lounge chairs, and tables with umbrellas. We stayed towards the end of April and spent time in the pool every day. The location cannot be beat. Pleasant walk to the Cellar, Gillies, and Campus. Easy parking on site. over flow across street if need be. Last, But not least, the $10 breakfasts (cooked by Sherry) are a fabulous option. The pinnacle of convenience and reasonably priced. “Great accommodations but breakfast not included at bed & breakfast”

Room was great! I made arrangements thru trip advisor. Didn’t receive check-in instructions. I arrived around 6 pm; couldn’t find anyone in person to talk with or check-in with. Finally located phone # & called. Spoke to someone then & checked-in successfully. Only spent one night so not much to sa… lisää

Room was great! I made arrangements thru trip advisor. Didn’t receive check-in instructions. I arrived around 6 pm; couldn’t find anyone in person to talk with or check-in with. Finally located phone # & called. Spoke to someone then & checked-in successfully. Only spent one night so not much to say. I’ve never stayed at a bed & breakfast where I was charged for breakfast. My 1st choice on the menu was the oatmeal but I wasn’t paying $10 for a bowl of oatmeal so I can’t speak to the breakfast piece.
