This is my go-to place to stay when visiting family in Chesapeake. The one bedroom suite is perfect for me. There’s a full kitchen so I can be somewhat independent. Breakfast is included with the meal selection every day seeming better than the previous. The staff is friendly and helpful and I am always quite comfortable. The hotel is close to everything! The Greenbriar Mall, food shopping, and only about 20-25 mins to the beaches. I’ll be back soon!

“Home away from Home!!!”

We were travelling to Chesapeake due to our family member being at the Chesapeake regional hospital in ICU and this hotel accommodated our family above and beyond. The rooms were clean and spacious, the lobby had space for eating and entertaining, the breakfast offered vegetarian options, and the outdoor space was perfect for me to sit down and relax in front of the fire pit as my children played on the basketball court. The staff was incredible. We stayed 2 separate times in January driving 6 hours and the staff has consistently shown up. Once we needed to extend our stay the day of and they were able to do that with no problem. Veronica at the front desk filled up the treasure box 2x so my children can pick out a toy and was kind and friendly. They are still playing with those items. Jo the maintenance guy really knows what he is doing and has great customer service skills as well. You can tell the people who work here love their job and each other. Damion? and Ronnie? kept it clean. For Residence Inn to allow pets you could not tell. We took advantage of everything from the pool, gym, grill, outdoor fire pit, basketball court, pool table, and recreation space. I wish they had a Residence Inn like this here, we would go just to have a staycation. I wanted to take the time to write this review because it meant that much for the people who were behind the great experience we had here to be recognized. **Sorry it wouldn't allow me to upload the pictures**

Our family stayed at Residence Inn for an out of state family funeral. The staff at this hotel are some of the most caring and compassionate people I've ever met. We first called because our flight was delayed, we were checked in over the phone and only needed to show ID once we arrived, which helped us so much. We were having a family dinner and were offered the dining area so we would be able to enjoy dinner together. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy, pool a bit chilly so we were offered to go over to the sister hotel, The Aloft, and we had a great time over there. Pool was warmer, bar had great drinks and appetizers. My biggest shout out goes to the 3 main girls that made our stay above and beyond, Tara Parker, Veronica Wright and Camesha Bailey. You three women and the most caring and compassionate and you all deserve recognition for your outstanding hospitality and making guests feel so welcome.
