In my travels, I have stayed in numerous hotels. Tru by Hilton ranks at the top. I hurt my knee right before arriving at the hotel. Dawn who works at the front desk, went above and beyond to help locate the essentials needed; crutches, knee brace. She provided me with a wheelchair until crutches were located. I am truly grateful for Dawn and her dedication to making each person staying at Tru feel at home. Tru by Hilton will be at the top of our list for future hotel stays.

“Great for the holidays.”

This hotel was a perfect landing spot for our family while visiting people in Winchester for 3 nights with our cats. This hotel was a perfect landing spot for our family while visiting people in Winchester for 3 nights with our cats. Hotel is built for pets to stay by eliminating carpet and scratching spots in the room. I would stay here again. Breakfast was really good and above average for this brand. Front desk staff were great and the coffee was always fresh. Would stay here again! My one complaint (which is the same for all Tru by Hilton) is sound insulation from hallways could be better.

“Perfect Halfway Hotel For My Family”

This hotel is top notch in our book! My family and I stop here for a nights rest because it is the perfect half way distance to our family in NY. This hotel is top notch in our book! My family and I stop here for a nights rest because it is the perfect half way distance to our family in NY. I love that I can use the Hilton app to get my room key, check in/out and even pick our room! The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious. I always love an easy on/off hotel that’s close to the highway we are traveling. Close to a lot of food options and gas. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip up!

There is nothing wrong with this hotel. It was clean and quiet. I slept well which I suppose is mostly what matters. The thing is that I'm not the right demographic for Tru. There is nothing wrong with this hotel. It was clean and quiet. I slept well which I suppose is mostly what matters. The thing is that I'm not the right demographic for Tru. I had been curious about Tru which is why I stayed here. Tru is definitely aiming for the early 30s and under crowd. The rooms and the rest of the hotel are sparse int heir design and very modern. There are collaboration, socialization, play and work areas in the lobby. There is a focus on local in the displays around the hotel and the items they have available for purchase in the little food shop around the front desk. I was expecting the breakfast to be more towards the fresh and local theme as well. It was pretty standard Hilton breakfast a bit below something like Hampton Inn. Choices were more limited than I am used to with Hilton but I was able to put together a good meal for myself. I am glad that I stayed at a Tru property to see this concept. The Tru in Winchester is a good place to stay if you fit the demographic that the brand is attempted to market itself to.
