This was my first time staying at this hotel. I was in Puyallup for a family event and found this great Marriott property to stay at. While this hotel has all the typical amenities, its true asset are the wonderful people who work here. We we’re traveling with my elderly father and he needed an accessible room. At first, we are in a room that did not suit his needs. The staff at the front desk were highly responsive to our needs and moved him to an acceptable room. They went out of their way to be accommodating. Every interaction with the staff here, including the folks in housekeeping, and those who lay out the quality breakfast spread, was positive. Thank you Fairfield Inn and Suites in Puyallup. If we travel through here again, we’ll be back.

“Great place for a short stay”

I planned on attending Summercon in Puyallup at the fairgrounds for two days and I didn't want to drive back home in between days. I planned on attending Summercon in Puyallup at the fairgrounds for two days and I didn't want to drive back home in between days. Made a reservation at Fairfield and was greeted with an email about how my stay would be like and what services to expect. This was rather nice to be sent this information rather than trying to find it. My friend and I were very happy with the cleanliness of the hotel and our room. Cleanliness is perhaps the most important factor I look out for when staying at a hotel and Fairfield felt practically new. Behind the lobby was the breakfast area and the space was well combined with the lobby. The space was well designed for an eating area but also could be used as a multi-purpose room for relaxing or an extra space away to use, away from your room. I stayed on the top floor, in a double bed room and it did not feel crowded at all. The room came with both a microwave and a mini-fridge. I was very happy to have these in my room as I have noticed in recent stays at other hotels that you will usually have one or the other, never both. Lastly, the service at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. I have seen front desks with no one in sight and would have awkwardly stand there waiting for someone to show up. Kenda greeted my friend and I with a friendly smile while we checked in. Definitely recommend!

Stayed for 2 nights here for a trip to Rainier. Platinum member. Positives: - Front desk staff are very pleasant and welcoming. - Breakfast is much better than typical Fairfield - Suites are larger Negatives - location, couldn't sleep due to highway noise. - Bath tub fixtures were very old and needed multiple effort to make shower work - No daily housekeeping. This was not mentioned by front staff during check in.
