This was my first stay at a Coast hotel, and it was a good one. While I wouldn't call it inexpensive, it was a good price for the area around the convention center. I spent five nights on the 27th floor (or so it is labeled--floors start at 14 over the parking garage) on a business trip/vacation. The room was really nice. The mattress was excellent (pillows a little hard for me), the shower good, the washlet bidet interesting. Housekeeping, check-in staff, and the bartender were helpful. Much of the lobby was inaccessible because of construction (maybe has ended by now?), but that was OK. The pizza I had at the hotel bar was nothing to rave about, but my companion really liked his sandwich from the little grocery nook. The location felt safe and was convenient for the convention center as well as visiting Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square, taking the monorail to Seattle Center, taking the bus to the ferry pier, and taking the train to the stadium. It is three blocks uphill from a metro station.

I came into town to see a concert with some friends. I chose this hotel based on the reviews, the pictures available online, and the hotel's proximity to the event and other attractions. The Lobby is on the tenth floor of the building in which the hotel is located. From the moment I entered that lobby until the moment I checked out, every single employee, including housekeeping staff, treated me very well. The hotel has a very nice, helpful store on the lobby level, in the restaurant/bar area, with which I was impressed. The menu was fairly typical for a hotel, but the food was great. I can't really say that I recommend the fish, but I recommend the hell out of the chips and everything else I ate. The bartenders were great. I really enjoyed hanging out at the bar and in the attractive, associated lounge area. It's unique. As for the room (Single King-22nd floor of the building,) I was quite satisfied. It had that feature you know I always want-at least one piece of additional furniture other than an office chair. This room had a small but very comfortable chair, positioned for the occupant to enjoy the amazing view. I had a partial water view which doubled in desirability at sunset. The city view was very good. The windows are double-shaded. There's a total blackout shade and a diffusing shade on each window. At this altitude, I could hear nothing outside. But at least one of the smaller windows opened. I never used that feature. The bathroom featured a Toto toilet, an abundant supply of extra towels and washcloths, and toiletries which smelled terrific. Overall the bathroom was attractive. The bed was quite good. The headboard was a nice touch, but the pillows stole the show. I wish I had them here. There is a mini-fridge in the room. There is not a microwave. The glassware is of a higher quality than glassware in many other hotels. I'm not sure what was up with this, but around 5am-6am the room would heat up a bit. However, I did not have any issues with A/C noise, an issue mentioned in some other reviews. There are ports and plugs aplenty. There are even some in your beside lamps. The room has a workstation. The desk lamp is EXCELLENT. Cab service and Uber pickup generally occurs right outside the front door of the building or across Sixth Street. I wish I was there now.

Booked this hotel for an overnight stay before a Virgin Cruise from Seattle Port. Hotel is in a great position with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Booked this hotel for an overnight stay before a Virgin Cruise from Seattle Port. Hotel is in a great position with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Hotel is about 20 to 30 minutes from cruise port dock 91. Our King Club Room was on the 28th floor so amazing views over Seattle. Check in was straightforward although a lot of building works happening at check in area. Club facilities were quite small and poor area not big enough for the amount of club guests. Club access wasn’t explained when we checked in so had to ask, evening snack was poor but breakfast was good and enough to get us started. First club access I’ve had that didn’t offer free alcohol just cheaper selected alcohol. Room was clean and bed comfy, hotel had Japanese influences from art work to origami in room and multi-function toilet with heated seat and was facility. All in pleased with stay and price paid, would use again if cruising from Seattle again.

“Lovely room and location”

Excellent location, just a 5 minute walk down the hill to the waterfront. Room and bathroom were really nice and spacious and having a mini fridge was handy since it was so hot when we stayed.
