I have stayed at a plethora of Holiday Inn Hotels and this one by far exceeds the others. As soon as I checked in, the desk staff were upbeat and made it feel very welcoming. The entire place is super clean and looks amazing. Our room was beyond the cleanest in which we have stayed. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Then on my way to check out the desk staff was new and still were bright and approachable. Best Holiday Inn yet!!

From the minute we walked in, we had a positive experience. The lobby is inviting and has cute decor. The staff who checked me in were friendly. There are warm cookies available for free at check-in. The facility is spotless. Every time you turn around, you see someone cleaning. The room is basic but very clean. There is an in-room microwave and decent size mini-fridge. The Dove products are a nice touch. The amenities are nice and in good condition. There is a small desk with a computer, a fitness center with upgraded machines and a clean heated pool. We enjoyed spending time in the pool. The free breakfast is one of the best I've seen at a hotel. There is something for everyone, from warm cinnamon buns to pancakes and healthy choices as well. There is plenty of seating inside and outside the lobby, for breakfast or to order in pizza, etc. The outside of the building is kept nice. The location is convenient and surrounded by many chain restaurants and stores. I typically stay with other brands, but after this experience, I would consider a Holiday Inn Express for future vacations.

“Convenient place to stay on the way to Canada”

Comfortable and clean room. Decent breakfast options. Close to many restaurants and grocery stores. If you have time, drive downtown to the lovely Thompson Park. It makes a nice break if you have been driving for a long time.

Convenient to rafting the Black river, cruising lake Ontario from Sackets Harbor as well as close to 1000 island cruises (30 min to Alexandria Bay or 30 min to Clayton). Room was clean, staff friendly, bed a bit on soft side, strong a/c. Plenty of outdoor parking. Breakfast was very average, but… lisää
