One of the nicest Hilton properties I’ve stayed at. We stayed overnight on our trip north to NY. The property is right off I-95 and is part of a large outdoor mall. That makes it very convenient to various types of restaurants, coffee shops. Supermarkets, etc. you might need. Loved the convenience. The front desk was very kind and welcoming. The lobby was bright and clean. The first floor also has a pool and exercise room which we didn’t use but there were people enjoying these facilities. The room itself was huge and equipped with a larger fridge as well as kitchen dinnerware and utensils. It would definitely be comfortable and well-equipped for someone working or families staying for a few days that don’t want to always eat out. Everything was very clean and very comfortable. The included breakfast was the standard fare but I noticed they tried to incorporate a lot of organic ingredients which was a first for me. For all of this, I would say we paid the lowest rate we have ever paid for a hotel stay. It will hopefully become our go to place to stop on future trips. Kudos to the manager and staff for providing such an inviting place to stay.

There’s a lot to like about a brand-new hotel, and this one made a great impression. Everything felt fresh, clean, and modern. The room included kitchen supplies, which I didn’t personally need, but they would be a nice perk for someone staying longer. The staff was consistently friendly and polite, and I was especially impressed by the breakfast attendant, who went out of her way to confirm that the breakfast potatoes were wheat-free. As someone who is gluten-free, that extra effort was much appreciated. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast sandwich bar was creative and fun, and I made my own gluten-free version by pairing the egg patties with sausage instead of bread. The egg patties were delicious. Even the yogurt station—while appearing a little X-rated-strange at first— the way it squirted out yogurt - turned out to be a winner. The vanilla yogurt was sweet and paired perfectly with the oatmeal toppings, especially the nuts. All in all, this was an excellent value and a very enjoyable stay.

I just wrapped up a two-week stay here, and I’m honestly sad to leave. It’s rare to find a place where the staff actually looks like they’re having a good time working together, but Manager Kenneth Dukes has built a team that feels like one big, happy family. We had a massive snowstorm during my stay, and I was so impressed watching the crew. They were constantly on their toes, mopping up slushy puddles and quietly tidying up after guests who were rushing in and out. They never made it feel like a chore; they just took care of us. A huge shout-out to Vivian, our morning breakfast hero! Even when the dining room was packed, she kept every tray full and every table sparkling, all while making everyone feel welcome with her beautiful smile. After fourteen days, I can tell you that the kind and welcoming spirit here is the real deal. It truly felt like a home away from home. It was the best place I could have hoped for.

From Checkin to check out, every staff member we came across was smiling, friendly and helpful. I’d like to make a particular shout out to Vivian. The breakfast options we typical of Home 2 Suites, but the execution was excellent. We thought breakfast was until 10, but forgot that it was Monday (MLK day) so they stop breakfast at 9:30. I have been at other hotels that rush you when it’s closing time, or just shut the doors. Not only did Vivian not shut us out, she helped us put our breakfast choices together and asked if we wanted items as she put them away. This meant so much to use and was truly above and beyond. If you are looking for a place to stay near Martinsburg… choose this Home 2 Suites!
