Our family had a wonderful stay over the recent holidays and we will definitely be back again. Our kids and grandchild had so much fun in the pool and being so close to Rotary Lights was an absolute favorite! No long waits or parking. We also all noticed how friendly and helpful all the staff were during our weekend visit. From the front desk,the breakfast staff to housekeeping - all so friendly and helpful. The holiday decor and fireplace were so welcoming!

“Thank you for an awesome stay and help”

We had a family emergency with my mother. Showed up for what we thought was going to be a long weekend. In the end we were there almost a month! We had a family emergency with my mother. Showed up for what we thought was going to be a long weekend. In the end we were there almost a month! The front desk calling out Tiffany and Keshia specifically were so extremely understanding and accommodating as we continually added on days at the last minute on them. The coin laundry facility was greatly appreciated as my sister, brother and I only packed for an extended weekend. Housekeeping was very incredibly helpful and friendly. The night desk person Gina, was so sweet and lovely to talk with after our hectic day as we sat and had tea, watched tv and took a needed breath during our final moments of each day (we dealt with our mom’s medical issues during business hours and worked very early mornings and the late evenings for our employer’s). Breakfast staff especially Anthony, was very friendly. The front desk saw us coming in at night (some actually knew when we would be coming back at night) and had the hot water out already for our nightly tea. I could go on and on and I know I will miss some people in the post and for that I apologize to those that we crossed path with for not specifically naming them but, this property has the best customer service by and far that I have ever seen or used and we will use them should it be needed in the future. The beds were comfortable, the showers were consistently hot and with enough pressure even up to the 4th floor. The kitchenette was nice to have especially with the unexpected extended stay. The internet service had plenty of ability to use when working remotely. We didn’t use the pool or spa but, it was used by others plenty while we were there and the smaller workout room was enough to get the workout in if you chose to use it. Thank you all for making our stay easy on my sister, brother and me. I think I can speak for us all when I say, you all went above and beyond for our stay and we only saw kindness and respectful interaction with all guest when we were there. Bravo. Cathy

“A few issues, but comfortable stay”

There were some problems here. Keys stopped working, lights did not work, air conditioning in our first room was not working. However, Kyle at the front desk was great. He brought us up new keys and when he could not fix the AC, he got us a new room quickly. The hotel needs an update, but we were c… lisää

There were some problems here. Keys stopped working, lights did not work, air conditioning in our first room was not working. However, Kyle at the front desk was great. He brought us up new keys and when he could not fix the AC, he got us a new room quickly. The hotel needs an update, but we were comfortable and the staff was great. It was clean and quiet, I would stay there again.

“Hotel (and website) need a refresh”

We picked this hotel because it had a playground, hot tub, two separate sleeping areas and a kitchenette with full sized fridge/freezer/cooking supplies - perfect amenities for our weekend in La Crosse. We picked this hotel because it had a playground, hot tub, two separate sleeping areas and a kitchenette with full sized fridge/freezer/cooking supplies - perfect amenities for our weekend in La Crosse. Check-in was a breeze and the front desk attendant Michael was great! He was attentive and helped out with extra blankets and trying to track down a frying pan. We get up to the room and it smells musty and moldy. We opened the windows and put the a/c as low as it could go. After a few hours the smell goes away. The room itself had the usual marks of wear and tear - stains on all the things, a sagging bed, rust on the utensils and pans, tiles broken in the kitchen area and bathroom, peeling paint and mold in the bathroom. The shower worked well and the tub held water - so that's a plus! The only pan in the kitchenette was a small sauce pan and there were no cooking utensils, only tableware. Okay - I go down to the front desk and see if they have an extra frying pan so I can cook the meal I just bought all the ingredients for. They didn't, but recommended a local store that may have frying pans. I was able to make due with cooking each item separately so it kinda worked. Breakfast was meh. The usual waffles, but the waffle iron was so dirty that the waffles stuck to it, even with the spray. The biscuits and gravy were decent. The potato hash was unappetizing. There was no milk or yogurt on Monday because "the weekend wiped us out!". Eventually they found a gallon of milk and some yogurt. The coffee was yellow, not brown so I'm guessing they only put a few tablespoons of coffee for the whole carafe. Aside from the waffle maker, the breakfast area was very clean, so that's a plus! The hot tub was the perfect temp and the pool wasn't too bad either. The exercise room had the usual treadmill and stationary bike, but no weights. My 6 year old wanted to play on the playground pictured on the website and Air BnB. We looked around the grounds and couldn't find it. Asked Michael and he said he never knew there was a playground. I pulled up the website and he mentioned making sure it was updated to remove the photos and description of said playground. Hotel is in need of refreshed furniture, new carpets, stocked kitchen, and an update on the website. Was it worth what we paid for it? Yes, but I wouldn't spend more than the $130/night we found it for until repairs/refreshes are done.
