We stayed at the Antler Inn in Jackson on a Thursday night in October 2025. The motel was pretty easy to find, but parking here is TIGHT and finding the lobby was a little confusing. Got the key to our room which was on the ground floor under a very dark staircase. The room had log walls and felt very rustic (which I liked), but it was really cramped. I wanted to stay in downtown Jackson because I thought it would be great being so close to shops and restaurants, but even in the off-season, this area is super busy and a little overwhelming. As I mentioned, parking here is tight and if you choose to drive to dinner like we did, you may not have any parking spots to come back to. We had to park down the street and walk back to the motel. My biggest issue with the room, though, was the updated/remodeled bathroom. It was gorgeous and a very trendy design with pebbled shower walls and floor and high-end soaps and shampoos, BUT the shower was only enclosed by a half of a glass door, by design. The other half of the shower is completely open, so when you take a shower, WATER GOES EVERYWHERE in the bathroom. We were trying to be so careful to not make a mess, but it was 100% unavoidable. So much water escaped the shower that it got the carpet wet outside the bathroom, so then we were walking on old wet carpet all night, even after soaking up as much water as we could with our towels. There was also only one luggage stand and no real place for the other person to put a suitcase in the room, so I ended up having to use the small kitchen table to put my suitcase on, rendering our table useless for actual eating. Even taking those things into consideration, I would still MUCH rather stay at a locally-owned motel than a corporate chain. As busy as Jackson has become, it's nice that there are still some "Mom and Pop"-type motels left, but I'm sure they are feeling the pinch since they were built when the town had a much smaller footprint. I hope they can stick it out.

“NICE BASIC ACCOMODATIONS IN A GREAT LOCATION!”

This was a great “base camp” for my family’s hiking trip to the Grand Tetons and day trip to Yellowstone. Rooms are basic with no views to speak of but have everything you need; small fridge, comfy beds, and clean. This was a great “base camp” for my family’s hiking trip to the Grand Tetons and day trip to Yellowstone. Rooms are basic with no views to speak of but have everything you need; small fridge, comfy beds, and clean. Plus, the location is a block and half from the town square, Million Dollar Cowboy bar, and all the shops so walking to most any place downtown is easy, even at night. There is also a market across the street for most any beverage or food you might need. The rate includes “breakfast” but it’s really bananas, some pre-packaged muffins and juice and milk cartons for grab and go, not a true breakfast. Coffee is also available. If they added individual yogurts or other fruit options and maybe some of those individual cereal boxes they could call it a breakfast. Parking is a bit tight but still managed to fit my rented Toyota 4 Runner. All in all, a great value place to stay.

“Great location and very comfortable rooms .”

A 5 star stay however being more of a senior , it would have been more accommodating to give us first floor rooms as there is no elevators or individuals to help us. A 5 star stay however being more of a senior , it would have been more accommodating to give us first floor rooms as there is no elevators or individuals to help us. Not fun lugging luggage up several flights of stairs . The rooms were very clean and comfy beds. Staff were very nice . The complimentary breakfast is small but lots of snacks during the day and coffee, juices and hot chocolate during the day .

Older type motel in easy walking distance to main square. Quiet and comfortable. Great free breakfast. Reasonably priced for the location
