This is the ideal place to stay when in Auckland. The location is perfect. The Customer Service is Extraordinary!!! The Manager, Carinda, makes sure that all customers' needs are taken care of. She listens and genuinely cares that your stay is the absolute best!!! Carinda and her outstanding staff, Damian and Sumeet, make you feel like "family". They are warm and friendly and it makes your stay so nice! I Rented a Car and found that this location was just right!

“A decent room with a great view.”

For whatever reason, I mixed up my dates to stay in this hotel, so I had to make a booking almost at the last minute. For whatever reason, I mixed up my dates to stay in this hotel, so I had to make a booking almost at the last minute. All i needed was a room for one night, before my flight back to Melbourne the following morning. This hotel seemed to fit the bill. When I booked, i did not specify I needed a car parking space, but the hotel staff went out of their way to find a space for me. Especially as their own car par has only a handful of parking spaces. My room was on the top floor, with a great view of the Skytower and the city centre. At least it would have been a great view, had it not been raining for most of the day. This particular hotel is close to many cafes and restaurants, so there is no shortage of places to eat. The only downside is that being close to the top of Queen Street, it means a walk down a rather steep hill towards the city centre. By the time I had walked the almost three ks each way towards the city centre, I just did not feel up to trudging out again in the rain. Therefore, I chose to eat in the hotel restaurant that evening. This just happens to be a Lone Star restaurant, attached to the hotel. Breakfast was also served in this Lone Star restaurant.Breakfast was a buffet style, with a limited amount of hot food available. There were other choices, such a cereals for breakfast.

We spent 3 nights here, and it was average. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean - though it's design meant it was a bit poky, with little sense of space. We had a room with a tiny balcony - which hadn't been cleaned. There was cigarette ash all over it, and the seats were covered in dus… lisää

We spent 3 nights here, and it was average. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean - though it's design meant it was a bit poky, with little sense of space. We had a room with a tiny balcony - which hadn't been cleaned. There was cigarette ash all over it, and the seats were covered in dust. I had to wipe it all down before we could sit out there - but honestly it wasn't a pleasant spot to sit, and not worth paying extra for.
