“Good hospitality and good location.”
We booked a two bedroom unit for an overnight stay on our way to Stewart Island. The unit was clean, tidy and warm. Comfortable beds. Great service and local information. Walking distance to town, supermarkets and good restaurants.

“Wonderful place to stay”
We found this motel beautifully clean and well situated for visiting Invercargill. Our unit was spacious, clean and comfortable. Service was impeccable and friendly. I can't rate Balmoralodge highly enough. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Invercargill.

“Good quality, and good value, motel on the edge of the town with the centre around 25 mins walk”
Good location on the edge of the town. Around 20/25 mins walk to the town centre, where the famous E Hayes shop with its large historic motorbike collection (inc Burt Munroe's bike). “A good option at the bottom of the world.”
Clean and tidy. We had a teenager with us so the family unit being a bedroom open to the lounge down stairs was not the ideal but still worked for what we needed. Good facilities and very friendly staff. Well featured kitchen with plenty of space. Lighting was a bit dark but still useable.
