Great sized room (#17) at the front of one of the blocks. Room was bright and airy and spotlessly clean with daily service. Motel has a guest laundry with a washer and a dryer and a pool (didn't use but looked nice). Staff were friendly and accommodating. While the room has a kitchenette, the equipment is sparse - 1 frying pan and 1 small saucepan; no tin opener, only very small teacups, no chopping board and the smallest teatowels Ive ever seen. It was handy to be able to prepare.food though and Pak n Save is <5mins away with a dairy/milk bar <2mins away. Good spot if you're going to Waikato Stadium and a 10 min drive to town. Reception is not open for periods so you have to phone them if you need anything - no phone in the room but most people have mobiles

“Faultlessly clean, budget accommodation”

For the price, we could not fault our stay. The room was small and perhaps a little tired but as suggested in the title, was absolutely SPOTLESS so could not nit-pick here. We staying in a studio and for 2 taller than average adults, the bed was not big enough so would suggest moving up a room cate… lisää

Good spot to stay if needing locality to the stadium as is less than a 5 minute walk

“One night stop”

We booked on a Saturday night, probably wasn't the best idea. We could hear every word spoken in the room next door and to make it worse they had an upstairs unit above ours and everytime they walked closed doors or went up the stairs it was so so loud! We booked on a Saturday night, probably wasn't the best idea. We could hear every word spoken in the room next door and to make it worse they had an upstairs unit above ours and everytime they walked closed doors or went up the stairs it was so so loud! They had a few people over and the noise was really annoying we tried to keep out tv as loud as we could to try and drown it out. Other than that the room was good, good space and pretty tidy. The bed could do with an upgrade as we had a bit of roll together and also the pillows which didn't have protectors and were stained. Maybe if you chose another unit it would be better, otherwise don't use unit 17!
