We stayed a couple of nights here before Xmas, per my many reviews 3 things we mainly look for in accommodation, location, cleanliness, service. This Motel was centrally located easy walking distance to several good eating options and places to have a drink (though outdoor seating in Hawera hard to find) Places was spotlessly clean we passed this onto the owner at checkout who was so pleased he took us on a wee tour out back where the store room/cleaning supplies were stowed and no surprises the place was neat as a pin. He put much of the praise on his Manager I think Carolyne was her name. Not with standing the guided tour the owner advised us of must visit places in the area apparently among them an Elvis Museum. We left and travelled to New Plymouth on arrival realised we had left a Kindle behind rung the Motel got Carolyne explained the situation, they searched the room found the Kindle and couriered it to us. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this Motel.

“Great Motel”

One of the best small town Motels we have visited in NZ. Greeting by Caroline was easy and pleasant with a choice of rooms available. Units were clean and tidy and well presented with snacks on the table and great cosmetics in the bathroom. Unit had spa bath and good quality towelling. Would recomm… lisää

“A wonderful surprise”

We quite often visit Hawera having lived in the area some years ago, but I did not realise this accommodation existed. What a great find. We quite often visit Hawera having lived in the area some years ago, but I did not realise this accommodation existed. What a great find. The unit was roomy, immaculately clean, and with a high standard of fittings etc. It is situated right in the middle of town with super market and restaurants a very short walk away. Carolyne, our host, was very helpful and even alerted me to the fact I had left my parka behind. We will return on our next trip to Hawera.
