“Nice and pleasant stay in a familiar atmosphere”
Very lovely place Close to everywhere in New Plymouth Big recommendation. We got a camping place for our tent without any problem. Garden with kitchen herbs also included 😋

“Restful retreat in Taranaki”
Great service, facilities and location. We really enjoyed the stay as it felt like a home away from home. This is an awesome welcoming place for all demographics.

“My Favorite Hostel!!! Friendly, Attractive, Comfortable”
Ducks & Drakes is my favorite hostel after 6 months of staying in hostels in Europe, French Polynesia, and New Zealand. There is such a friendly atmosphere there. The place has comfortable and attractive hang out areas indoors and outdoors. It is good looking and clean. The owners are very nice… lisää

“Homely little house-hostel”
Awe little hostel with a homely vibe and lots of character. The guy checking us us was friendly and fun. Its in a great location- within walking distance to a supermarket, beach, town centre etc. Plenty of street parking around. Matress alittle worn and could use a few more showers but overall woul… lisää
