“Modern, spacious, and Quiet near to town”
I was just there the one night, but very impressed. I got a modern, spacious room with everything I needed, and at a fair price. It was quiet too, the double glazing really helps, as it is on a fairly busy road.

“Affordable, Quiet, Convenient”
The strand is very accessible and spacious not only is the location quiet but very convenient, close to restaurants and the city centre. “Amazing accessible units”
The Strand has 2 very spacious well set up accessible units . When you need accessible accommodation and you ring and speak to the person you always get told that of course they have fully accessible accommodation and you arrive and realise you have been misled yet again, but not at the The Strand … lisää

“Superb quality and best shower in NZ!”
I often stay at Northgate for business but have recently tried out The Strand (under same management). It’s modern, warm and the best shower in New Zealand! I’ll definitely be back as this is my favourite option in New Plymouth!

“Wonderful location for a holiday”
Such lovely people. Sharyn is an absolute gem. Great facilities and the units are very comfortable. Enjoyed sitting out on our patio with a glass of wine. Nice and close to the beach, cafes and restaurants nearby. Really enjoyed our time thank you so much.
