“Sanctuary”
During a very difficult trip, this place was truly a peaceful haven, better than anything we could have hoped for. Clean, warm, quiet, and so welcoming. “Very comfortable ”
Couldn’t have found a better place to stay. We were welcomed and made to feel very comfortable. Host was more than happy to answer questions and give directions. “Great family stay”
Fabulous place for families. Beds were comfortable, the room was very clean and warm. Plenty of room for everyone and the full kitchen was a bonus. Kids loved the trampoline. Beautiful parklike grounds, very close to town. Thanks for being pet-friendly too.

“cosy motel”
We stayed here for 2 nights with the sole purpose of walking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and this is a good base. We actually stayed here Dec 2019. “Ok for a stopover”
Just stayed for a one night stopover. Clean especially the bathroom. No mould in the shower grout maybe recently redone. But note water pressure not good enough to wash your long hair ladies. There is some noise from the highway but didn't disturb our sleep. Think of it as being close to the beach … lisää
