“Beautiful spot off the beaten track”
We had a lovely one-night stay here, the final stop of our tiki tour around the South Island. Our superior ground-floor room looked out over the pond and was surrounded by beautiful native gardens. “Great restaurant experience.”
The restaurant at the Lodge was very impressive with a great of choice meals, especially for vegetarians as there's many options. This isn't my usual experience at most other restaurants. “Vale la pena”
Came for dinner to our local and happy to have done so. Service and food very good and friendly. Menu is diverse and interesting.

“Fantastic spot. Busy but very little competition for food”
The lakes area is absolutely breathtaking. The walks range from easy to.."u gotta be bonkers".. the lodge is well presented along with the restraunt. The rooms aren't large..but they're clean n suitable for family. I would recommend they update the showers. And please think abt a microwave n toas… lisää

“Alpine Lodge”
The place is old. They have a stand in front of the reception saying "Since 1984 nothing has changed" and it's true. The room was the 80s style, with everything old and/or outdated.
