An excellent motel and hostess! The unit catered for the 4 of us- a couple and 2 single women. It was spacious and very comfortable. An excellent motel and hostess! The unit catered for the 4 of us- a couple and 2 single women. It was spacious and very comfortable. Kitchen facilities were well used and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom contained a shower, handbasin and separate toilet. We booked for 2 nights and then extended our stay for another 2 nights travelling between Greymouth and surrounds and Hokitika and surrounds. There is plenty to see and do in this area.

“Spacious and comfortable”

We have little experience of motels but of the few we have tried I think this one was excellent. It is a little away from the centre of town but only a 5 minute drive. You can park right outside your room which was very handy. We were in a room which could take 4 people so there was plenty of room … lisää

We have little experience of motels but of the few we have tried I think this one was excellent. It is a little away from the centre of town but only a 5 minute drive. You can park right outside your room which was very handy. We were in a room which could take 4 people so there was plenty of room for the two of us! It had a double bed and 2 singles. The sitting area was large and the kitchen area also a good size with a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom was a good size too with a shower in it and a separate toilet. The bedroom had a double bed and a single. There was a wardrobe and a few drawers so enough for a bit of storage but not sufficient to stay for a week I felt. The bed was big and comfortable and the black out curtains effective. I enjoyed our one-night stay and am happy to recommend it.

“Nice, large suite with very friendly, knowledgable manager”

We made a short list of places to stay in Hokitika; this motel was not on it. But all the mid-range places had no vacancy. We were nearly out of town when we saw the Fitzherbert Court - with a vacancy. And we were certainly glad we took it. Large spacious suite with all the conveniences. Reaso… lisää

We made a short list of places to stay in Hokitika; this motel was not on it. But all the mid-range places had no vacancy. We were nearly out of town when we saw the Fitzherbert Court - with a vacancy. And we were certainly glad we took it. Large spacious suite with all the conveniences. Reasonable price. Very comfortable. Large car park space right at the door (we have too much luggage). But even better was the rapport my gardening wife had with the manager. They talked plants; books were brought out to see what vegetation we foreigners had been and were seeing. I looked at her bird books. Great time; would definitely go back.

“Comgortsble and easy to go to towncenter.”

It's easily seen on the highway before entering towncenter of hokitika , its room is quite spacious for 4 persons , with 2 double beds and 1 big king sized bed. Its wifi is superfast and there is self laundry for 5NZD for laundry and another 5 NZD for dryer. Parking space is also plenty.
