“An amazing hotel in an old building.”
This hotel occupies an old Madrassah inside the walled city of Ichan Kala. It's an amazing place. Rooms vary in size as they are squeezed into the original layout. “Simply stunning.”
First of all - if they have availabilities - just go & book it. Even though the town Khiva and myself did not really click I will definitely remember this hotel. after walking through the city gates it is immediately on the right hand side and at first i did not recognize it being a hotel. “Relive history with stay in former madrassa”
Excellent location within the UNESCO world heritage compound. Established in a former madrassa, giving you an opportunity to imagine how life may have been in the educational institutions. Good breakfast service.

“An interesting cultural experience”
I went with a tour group, so I don't know what a room would have cost individually. My room was on the ground floor. Things may have been different upstairs. The room was a recess in the wall. “Great location, interesting building and history”
Ideal location situated in the historic centre of Khiva. Plenty of atmosphere and history to absorb but really only recommend for a short stay. Acomodation by the nature of the building is cramped and dark, helpful to have an upstairs room if you can manage the stairs as windows open from the bathr… lisää
