“Relive history with stay in former madrassa”
Excellent location within the UNESCO world heritage compound. Established in a former madrassa, giving you an opportunity to imagine how life may have been in the educational institutions. Good breakfast service.

“Can't go wrong here”
We were very happy with our stay at the Orient Star Hotel. The setting is unique, with a lovely courtyard and great restaurant. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful - many thanks to Umidbek and Tohir for your priceless help.

“Unique building”
I stayed here with my tour group. The hotel is actually an old madrassah that has been converted into a hotel. The rooms are very small and fortunately I had a room on the ground floor and didn't have to walk up small dingy stairs. My bathroom had a smell of sewage which wasn't pleasant. To eat br… lisää

“Okay for a night or two.”
As others have commented this is an historic building in a great central location. Yes some rooms are very small and quite dark but perfectly okay for a night or two. “Converted 1800s madrassa located near to the town centre. Good modern facilties”
Former 19th century madrassa near to historic town centre. Nice atmospheric bedroom with usual facilities, if a little small. Air Con Overlooking central courtyard although little natural light. Decent breakfast in lovely dining room
