“Huge, clean room ”

We stayed on the 8th floor and the room was huge and clean. Room service was good and room even had a spa bath. Very Soviet feel. We stayed on the 8th floor and the room was huge and clean. Room service was good and room even had a spa bath. Very Soviet feel. Staff were friendly and spoke a little English, enough to help us get around. The breakfast buffet was great. It is centrally located. The walls are thick and the room are quiet. Central ironing board on our floor. The only negative was the thin curtains which let a lot of light in making it difficult to sleep in the summertime. I would stay here again although I would check out the Hilton first.

We wanted to stay in one old soviet style hotel on our Trans-Siberian journey, and with limited hotel options in Perm, we chose the Ural, A clean, comfortable, well priced, and quiet stop, it's in a good location and included a varied breakfast and wifi. Access to wifi required a code texted to a phone, daily, which we were unable to secure; however, helpful staff were always available and obtained and passed along the code. We booked transfers and a tour in advance through Permturist travel, located on the 2nd floor of the Ural. From correspondence to pickup, Taissia efficiently handled all arrangements affording us a brilliant tour with an exceptionally knowledgeable guide and outstanding driver, to Perm-36 Gulag - Tour highly recommended!

“Työviikko Permissä”

Majoittuimme 5 yö Ural hotellissa Permin matkalla. Hotelli on neuvostoaikainen kolossi kaupungin keskustassa. Huoneet on remontoitu kohtuulliseen kuntoon. Kylppäristä oli vähän sanomista. Kellarissa ravintola josta sai ruokaa vielä lähellä puoltayötä. Tämä oli hyvä puoli pitkien työpäivien jälkeen.… lisää

“Old fashioned ,new personel”

A soviet style hotel ,partially renovated .Endless corridors ,small rooms ,clean though .The breakfast is rich ,- Russian style -,the bread choice is limited ,-as all over Perm.Some of the reception staff speak English ,but they all do their best to help the quests.
