One of my friends was getting married and I stayed at the Gouverneur for two nights. The rate was reasonable and of good value. As I checked in, I requested a late checkout and the staff at the reception desk had no problem arranging that. I asked for a blackberry charger as I had forgotten mine and the staff went out of their way to make sure I got one and that my stay was enjoyable ( the little things count ) The room is of a decent size, spotless and clean. I had a very comfortable stay, wasn’t disturbed by any noise or the surroundings. Overall, the hotel is pretty simple and a definite plus was the free wifi. If I had to visit again, I will definitely stay there!

Well, to be fair the three star hotel is showing it's age. Everything seems old and begin to fade in age. Staffs are however very helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. However the breakfast wasn't great, the location of the hotel seems to be far from the city, glad that taxi is within reach. Overall for the price that we paid, I think this is considered as very good.

“Standard business hotel, fine for a few nights”

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip. The rooms are decorated in quite an old-fashioned/dated style and some of the furnishings looked quite worn. But the room was clean and everything worked. My room faced towards the neighbouring building in the same compound, which meant that looking out of the window brought me almost eye-to-eye with another visitor in the room facing mine- needless to say, the curtains remained shut during my stay. My room was fairly well insulated- I couldn't really hear the other guests or much noise in the corridor.

“Recommended by Taxi driver for nice and affordable hotel”

I asked the Taxi driver who was taking me to Da Nang if he could recommend a decently price hotel with quality and this is the hotel that he recommended. I asked the Taxi driver who was taking me to Da Nang if he could recommend a decently price hotel with quality and this is the hotel that he recommended. He waited in the parking lot for me to inspect the hotel to see if it was ok before he left. It is a 3 star hotel and it was pretty decent. They don't have a bath tub, which is what I'm used to. Instead, they have a shower head for shower. Just make sure you close the toilet lid to keep it from getting all wet. The air conditioner was decent here, which is my main concern. My other concern was the WIFI and they also have it here. The hotel laundry service is decently priced, unlike the 4-5 star hotels which is outrageously priced. The breakfast buffet in the morning wasn't all that great, but it was alright. I would definitely come back here again for future visits and would recommend it to other visitors as well.
