“The best beach I have visited”

The beach opposite White Sand Doclet Resort is amazingly beautiful. Though service at the resort is quite poor, it is highly recommended beach to visit. I really escaped from my busy life and enjoyed it very much.

We spent 5 days at White Sand Doclet Resort & Spa. Quiet place, true heaven to recharge energy. Beautiful beach is a few walks away from our bungalow. The room is spacious with everything you need for daily basic. Staff is very helpful and friendly. You can book tours to visit some islands plus diving at the reception. If you want some fun other than just laying down on the beach, jet ski/flying and some activities are available. Reason I gave it 4* is because of the kitchen. Breakfast buffet is very poor. We had a dinner at the hotel and it was much lower than expectation. Anyway, we found a very nice restaurant just about 5' walking from the hotel. Fresh seafood with reasonable price. You can see it on the right side on the way to the hotel, Tinh Thu restaurant. One more thing: there are many mosquitoes so bring your spray!

“Only for the amazing beach / Bad service”

After having experienced 2 bad hotels in Nha Trang Center (very unlucky this time) we fled the agitated russian crowd which is everywhere to end in our 3rd place in 4 days! Doc Let is 50 km away from Nha Trang, far from everything; the resort was almost empty, the only guests except us were some russian families (them again!) We were very concerned that everything was translated in russian even more than in english, there were only 3 menu books in vietnamese/english, the rest were in russian; even the staff (very unprofessional) didn’t speak english but russian !! The service was very bad, the guard at the beach sleeps; when we asked for setting sunbeds, he made faces and we had to carry the matress ourselves to the deckchairs, at the hotel, we had to look for staff to order drinks, sometimes there was no one at all ! The place seemed deserted. However the beach is fantastic and worth the trip, the water is warm and clear but everyday there were big touristic buses full of chinese having lunchat the beach therefore we have found trash and plastic bags in the water right after their passing. Not ecological at all!!! The food was bad or so-so but prices at the restaurant are fair, beware of the additional VAT fee tough, the breakfast was copious unlike the last 2 hotels, finally we had some juice and fruit. The room is large, furniture old but clean and the bed matresses are too soft, we haven’t slept well … What a shame there is only one other resort on that beach with nothing around except those 2 fresh seafood hash houses (the 2nd is better) + a mini market and that's it! As far as i'm concerned, it's too expensive for that kind of resort, far from everything, you can find better for the money but the beach is everything!
