Great trip to celebrate our 5th anniversary. I do not understand the negative reviews. The resort and grounds were beautiful. We had the sunset bluff ocean view room with private pool. Room was great, bathroom small but functional, pool was a bit chilly, views spectacular. We had Christian, Sam and Palmer as our butler team and they were fantastic. Green flag days on the beach all week. Resort was very clean, quiet and peaceful. We thought the food was consistently good and especially enjoyed Neptunes, Soy and Kimonos (Myers)!

“Best honeymoon and butlers!”

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Sandals Regency La Toc for our honeymoon! Our butlers were Kyle, Garvin, and Charles and they did a phenomenal job. Would definitely recommend them and this resort.

We had the most amazing time on our recent trip to Sandals Regency La Toc to celebrate our honeymoon and my husband’s birthday. We were incredibly well looked after by our Butlers Lisa, JeanMal and Eva, who arranged our dinner reservations, secured our sun loungers, decorated our room and even surprised us with a birthday cake and a beautiful bubble bath after our trip to the volcano mud baths. I would highly recommend booking a Butler Suite if you can. The views from our Sunset Bluff room were absolutely stunning. I’ve never seen sunsets like it — truly beautiful. The room décor was a little tired in places, with some chipped paint and a few marks here and there, but it was kept spotlessly clean by our housekeeper Samiya and we loved our nightly turndown service — thank you, Majes. Food overall was good, though not the best we’ve had in the Caribbean. Service in the Pavilion was hit and miss and one evening was particularly disappointing when the only drink we were offered came from our Butler. We eventually received our second drink on the fourth time of asking, just as we were finishing our main course. On the positive side, we really enjoyed La Toc (great steak) and Armando’s (lovely lamb chops), where Jonathan, a new to role Server, took excellent care of us. Emily in Kimono’s and Soy had a brilliant sense of humour — be careful if you ask for “just a drop more wine”! The resort itself is low‑key, but we did feel it lacks quality venues for pre‑ and post‑dinner drinks. Both the Piano Bar and Sunset Bar could really benefit from a facelift and a stronger identity to create ambiance. Simply placing a piano in a room doesn’t make it a piano bar, it needs piano music (or any music). That said, there was a great singer on our final night. My husband did several days of diving and had a fantastic time with Marie (aka Bubbles), Tiny, the Other Mrs Smith and team. While he was out diving, I was brilliantly looked after on the beach by Keniyon and Antonio at the Pitons Pool. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday and have already booked another Sandals resort for next year.
