“Beautiful location, amazing staff!”
This hotel has an amazing location, with direct access to the lake and fantastic views. Although some of the rooms are a little ‘tired’ in places, this Georgian mansion has real character and charm. “Excellent two night stay”
Booked through Secret Escapes. A two night stay for my wife’s birthday with 3 course meal, glass of wine with dinner and full breakfast included made it affordable and good value. Staff were excellent throughout. Beautiful setting with views across Ullswater from our room. Very enjoyable stay.

“So welcoming…….”
I stayed at Leeming House for a couple of nights with my two dogs. We were all made to feel so very welcome……it was lovely! The hotel is quite big and grand but the staff are so kind and the food is excellent. Matt and Laura were particularly nice. We would certainly come again!

“Amazing staff and place.”
The hotel was dated but the service and staff were amazing. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone. Matt was exceptional and the young lady in the dinning room went above and beyond. My partner was unwell and they both went out of the way to make her feel better. We can’t wait to go … lisää

“Tired”
Location excellent but rooms are tired and needs refurbishment, charging an extra £6 for most of the breakfast items!
