Fairmont Hot Springs resort review - Awesome! My reconnection with Fairmont Hot Springs resort started in a positive way with the booking agent I spoke with. I explained what I was looking for and thought the King suite would be good. The booking agent said to me, well let’s just book that king suite for a queen. I agreed readily and was booked in. Then I discovered the bed and breakfast deal they had. I called back and coincidentally got the same agent. I was able to book the bed-and-breakfast deal for a minimal charge that gave me an allotment of two breakfasts daily. I was able to share the wealth with a couple of he guests who didn’t have the breakfast vouchers. It made my heart glad to share the wealth. I first came to Fairmont Hot Springs resort when I was a teenager. The time spent here over a few years were some of the most cherished memories I had in my childhood. Rediscovering this resort has been a pleasure and a joy in my life. The facility, the though built in the 1970s was not really built for wheelchair accessibility due to the number of stairs. There is still accessibility through the building for those with mobility challenges. The Hot Springs really does give healing. I had a deep scrape on my hand and it healed within a day of absorbing the natural healing elements of the hot spring, which is fed directly into the guest pool for the lodge. All of the staff have been marvellous, attentive hospitality workers I had a facial with Casey, she is a calming and joyous presence. And I look 10 years younger because of her skilful techniques. The king suite is really spectacular. Only about 100 feet from the entrance to the Hot Springs across the yard. With a dual fireplace and two TVs and the king size bed, with a memory foam mattress that is very nice. It just made me feel special to be in this space. The tapwater comes from deep ground water wells that has been treated to remove harmful contaminants and is completely, and I might say encourage to drink because of the mineral content in the water. I have stayed in a Ritz Carlton, and have that as a plum line for comparison. This lodge though older, along with the professional staff and the spectacular beauty and clean mountain air has restored me body, soul & spirit. A definite must if you’re looking for a relaxing time for a spa vacation. End of April is their low season, so I’m enjoying very little crowds and have been able to be in the pool by myself several times for length of time to just enjoy all of the surroundings in grateful solitude. Mixed with some good conversation from various guests that I have spoken with from a variety of places. I consider this place a revisit every year for myself. And would recommend it as a bucket list for anyone looking for peaceful solitude getaway to find some healing waters wash over your body, soul and spirit.

“My favorite place to be!”

Fairmont is one of my absolute favorite places to come and stay! My experience this time was exceptional! Even when my massage got cancelled last minute, the hotel was very accommodating and made sure I was not charged for a service I did not get to enjoy! Beautiful resort. Rooms are comfortable, staff is friendly, pools are warm and relaxing. Get a massage if you can! They are amazing at whispering willows!

“Chlorine level and swimsuits bleached”

Beware of chlorine levels! Love Fairmont and understand why they heavily chlorinate the pools. However, the amount of chlorine bleaches out the suits of all of our family and friends . Do not wear a suit that you care about!
