“Good location, can be pricey…”

Hotel is in a good location and just before entering Flores. We didn’t have a reservation so we walked-in. Hotel is in a good location and just before entering Flores. We didn’t have a reservation so we walked-in. Pros: has parking / breakfast is included / friendly and accommodating staff / view of the lake for coffee or beers is good / hotel design and exteriors are well kept. Cons: First hotel we have been where we have to pay for a separate room (not even extra Charge allowed) as I was traveling with my sons -18 & 14 yrs and only 3 adults allowed per room albeit they have 2 double beds per room! That was a major throw off so we only stayed a night. Pool was cold! Juice served at breakfast was watered down. Thus my 4/5 rating and I would perhaps try a different place before staying here again.

“Pretty and well located hotel on the lake”

This is a pretty hotel on the edge of a lake situated in a quiet spot near to the bridge over to the mainland where there are copious restaurants. The staff were attentive and friendly and the room clean. Tea and coffee making facilities would have been a good addition.

They seem to be headed in the right direction from the reviews; the pool is finished and lovely but the pool lounge chairs are seedy and unusable. They seem to be headed in the right direction from the reviews; the pool is finished and lovely but the pool lounge chairs are seedy and unusable. Also there are no towels and you only get one per person a day in your room so no pool towel whatsoever. We had a lake view on the 2nd floor and enjoyed it by staying outside. Room was chilly at night and with no blanket I used a towel to add a layer, dang. A tour group checked in the day we left so there was no extraordinary noise wafting up from the bar below. Breakfast service was good and the choices were too. They have extended the available hours over what is posted on the website (very good). The service was always prompt but we didn't like the prices or food for other meals. Ate lunch one day right across the street at "Aioli" (sands, desserts & coffee drinks...yum) What's up with the hotel not answering multiple emails?? It does not instill a lot of confidence in the arrival experience when they ignore you like that and it's easy to fix. Definitely happy we stayed on this side and NOT on Flores island which is primarily under water all along the coastline. Walk over, visit and come back here.

“Pleasant hotel with great lake lake views”

This is a large complex in blue and white by the edge of Lake Peten Itiza looking across to Floes Island. This is a large complex in blue and white by the edge of Lake Peten Itiza looking across to Floes Island. It is tastefully decked out in blue and white fittings with a pool in the centre of the main buildings which have rooms overlooking on one side and restaurant on the other. There are eating areas by the water’s edge. Our room was at the rear of the hotel and there was no external window which would be my only criticism. It was spacious, quiet and comfortable.Two large beds and an adequate bathroom. The restaurant food was good and the service satisfactory. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It is just a short walk across the causeway to Flores Island or you can take a tuk tuk

“I STAYED HERE”

I stayed here during my tour of central America. This looks like a very nice hotel and we were meant to be pleased that our group had been switched to this hotel. Sadly it was disappointing. I stayed here during my tour of central America. This looks like a very nice hotel and we were meant to be pleased that our group had been switched to this hotel. Sadly it was disappointing. For an old person like me there were steps all over each level and around the pool and to the restaurant. In my room which looked OK the hanging area instead of wardrobe was too high for me to get to. The safe was impossible to get to use and eventually I was just given a key to it which should have been offered the first time. For breakfast the service was chaotic. Ordered meals came in no obvious order and it seemed not to relate to when the order was made. Coffee at the buffet ran out. Then milk ran out. Long waits for replacement. Just give up.
