After staying in few very well rated hotels in Planegg I can assure this hotel is hands down the best in the town. Important things such as quiet room, the breakfasts I was looking forward to (the amount of options is phenomenal, and I am vegetarian), hotel’s attention to sustainability and details such as hassle free wifi or even number of hangers provided in the room – made my stay comfortable and relaxing.

The staff of the hotel is extremely friendly and give you the right attention after many hours of trip, absolutely appreciable. Parking possibilities limited, around 10 places. Breakfast with several possibilities. Rooms clean and well organized. One of the best address during a 1 week trip in Germ… lisää

This excellent family run hotel just off the main street in Planegg ( Gumstrasse 13) in a quiet location and a leisurely walk to / from the SBahnt. We stayed May 2018, the staff are really friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, clean bright, beautiful shower / bathroom (ours overlooked the garden). Planegg is well connected (SBhan) only 10 minutes or so into Munich centre, best stop to get off for the centre is Marienplatz . Breakfast is very good, stated to be 3 stars I would suggest more like 4 stars. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and we will always choose the Asemann. Avoid Munich centre, much better value in places like Planegg. Only thing I would suggest would be being able to make / coffee in the room. Parking is available.

“All in all a nice stay.”

Small and friendly hotel in a convenient location. Whole hotel is clean and presentable, pleasant reception staff. Single room was roomy, furnishings absolutely fine, bed comfy and bathroom clean and smart. Complimentary bottle of water and TV provided, and payable minibar items were there if want… lisää

Small and friendly hotel in a convenient location. Whole hotel is clean and presentable, pleasant reception staff. Single room was roomy, furnishings absolutely fine, bed comfy and bathroom clean and smart. Complimentary bottle of water and TV provided, and payable minibar items were there if wanted. Only quibble was a faint old cigarette smell indicating it may have once been a smoking room, but opening the window helped. The pillow was much softer than UK folk are used to, providing almost no support – an extra one would have been useful. Reception was also not manned between 10pm and early morning, but your room key allowed late re-entry and an emergency phone number was shown at the reception desk if needed. Breakfast room was pleasant, with a cold buffet selection. All in all a nice stay.
