Great hotel, it has an amazing atmosphere and vibe. Food options at breakfast are ok and there is a selection of local and international favourites for lunch and dinner. The rooms are spacious, clean and just comfortable. I’ve stayed here twice after staying at a larger hotel chain and Schani UNO City is now my hotel of choice in Vienna. It’s located directly across the road from the UN building, and the underground train system which means all of Vienna is within reach.

“A clean, modern hotel, convenient and a high standard at a good price”

My 19 year old son stayed at the Hotel Schani Uno City for a week from 24th August. I was unable to go with him, but he said that the hotel staff looked out for him and the reception desk was attentive, helpful and polite at all times. My 19 year old son stayed at the Hotel Schani Uno City for a week from 24th August. I was unable to go with him, but he said that the hotel staff looked out for him and the reception desk was attentive, helpful and polite at all times. He loved his comfortable room and the modern decor. The breakfasts were very good. I had paid for my breakfasts too and when I couldn't fly and the travel agent refused to refund my breakfast payment, the hotel kindly offered him packed lunches every day in lieu, which he also enjoyed. The hotel was in a perfect position for visiting Vienna's sights daily. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and an underground station a short walk away in the UNO City area. If you have a travel card covering your stay, it covers unlimited travel on buses, trams and underground in the core city area where all the main attractions are, and is well worth the money. He loved seeing the City and really enjoyed his stay at the hotel. He said that he would like to return to Vienna one day and that he would have no qualms at staying at the Hotel Schani again

“Contemporary and Comfortable”

I arrived late on a Friday when the restaurant and bar was busy and noisy, and was assigned a room above the function area where I could hear the event that was on. I arrived late on a Friday when the restaurant and bar was busy and noisy, and was assigned a room above the function area where I could hear the event that was on. So first impressions weren’t the best, but the staff quickly turned it around by assigning me a new room with a smile and without fuss. I ate at the restaurant two evenings, solo, enjoyed the meals, and the service staff were also exceptional. Everybody spoke English to a very good standard. The room was a little suntrap, quiet, and well thought out. The decor in some areas was probably aimed at a younger clientele. Check out was easy, and I left my suitcase in the lockers downstairs. Bus to airport was available across the road, cost effective and easy. The metro was no more than a 10 minute walk with easy connections into the city. You can also walk across the bridge and along the Danube in a residential area.

“Enjoyable stay in a fun hotel!”

Had an enjoyable stay in December. Conveniently located for the Vienna Congress conference centre, the Hotel Schani Uno City was a great place to stay. Had an enjoyable stay in December. Conveniently located for the Vienna Congress conference centre, the Hotel Schani Uno City was a great place to stay. Room was modern with comfortable bed and nice touches like the Roberts radio. Then good quality breakfast and I enjoyed the automatic pancake machine! The only criticism was that the in-room safe was not big enough for a laptop. A good stay and I would happily stay again!
