I am writing on behalf of my parents who stayed at the pousada 10 days. They loved the place!! The pousada is perfectly located close to the beach and to the plaza. Breakfast was fantastic (they loved the tapioca) and rich. The room was beautiful, nicely decorated and very clean. I made all the arrangements for them since they are senior citizens (76 & 81 years old) and the all the staff made their best to make them feel comfortable and taken care of. I specially would like to thank Viviane and all the staff in general for being so kind and helpful.

This little hotel (pousada) is just a gem. Location is fantastic: 150 meters from the most well known plaza of Praia do Forte (where the church is). It is located on a quiet street. The pousada itself is cozy and warm. Decoration is lovely. Our room was fantastic: spacious, always clean and with all the amenities you could expect (I think we had 6 pillows). There is a small playing space for children near the small pool, which was always welcome to keep them busy while we had breakfast. Breakfast, by the way, was fantastic: varied and fresh, with every local delight to be had: from tapioca to eggs, special juices to cakes, variety was definitely a plus. A negative point is the fact that breakfast is served from 8 am to 10 am, which is quite late for parents of young babies and toddlers. Staff is always willing to help, either with advice or tips, or just by letting me use the kitchen after closing hours to heat up meals for the children. A must know: if you want to reach the beach where there are 'natural pools' in the ocean, it is a mile away. It is quite far to be reached by foot with small children, so the hotel called us a 'bici-taxi', which is a bike equipped to take on up to 5 passengers. They took us every day to and from the beach for R$ 40 - which you have to negotiate. Overall, I would gladly stay here again, for the cleanliness, the amenities, how nice staff are and the great feeling of the pousada.

It was a very nice stay at this charming hotel pousada. The place is well located near enough to the beach and main street, and far enough not to be annoyed by commercial and nightlife noises. The attentive care for details by the owner makes the place look typically Brazilian with some very nice art pieces. The pool is excellent for a chill before or after the beach, there's a shower close by and courtesy towels are provided. Breakfast is delicious and full of local delicacies. If you miss it there's still the afternoon tea time. Service was generally very good, and guest treatment outstanding. Very nice staff especially the ladies who prepare breakfast. Definitely staying next time! Sinan.
