“Amazing rainforest hotel with volcano view”

Highly recommend! I do not understand why this hotel is only a 3 star hotel. This resort definitely feels like a 4 star resort. I like this resort even more than 5 star hotels I had stayed at. Let me review to answer all your questions. 1. This resort is very big with its own hiking trail with its own hanging bridge, night hike tour on site. The whole resort only has 42 rooms so book right away or it runs out. It’s very tranquil. 2. The resort is hilly but the resort has a cart that you can catch a ride everywhere with no charge ( tip appreciated). 3. The rooms we booked are pretty big with huge balcony. We booked upstairs with hot tub on the balcony with volcano view. So nice. ( Con:we opted for a room with a king bed and a double bed, this room doesn’t have a sofa and limited chairs.). We also stayed at the casita which is a nice 2 bedroom 2 bath on the property which has couch, bigger table, and more chairs. ( Rooms with 1 bed might also have sofa). 4. There is only 1 restaurant on the property. Thankfully the food was quite decent and pretty healthy. We stayed here for 4 days and ate dinner there every day. Breakfast is complimentary and very good. 5. Spa is nice. More than $100 per hour of massage course. 6. The gift shop was our favorite. Good price. And huge places to sit and hang out like a cafe. My family and I had never cared for a gift shop before. This is the first one. We need to go back there before we check out tomorrow. 7. Staff is very friendly and mostly all speak English. 8. You can uber to La Fortuna town which is about $15 only or $40 for taxi each way. 9. I recommend to book on their official website and use WHAT’s APP to communicate with them. They do not reply email very fast. What’s app gets you faster response. 10. There is no hot spring inside the hotel. There is a ONE swimming pool only with upper level heated and the lower level is not heated. 11. There is a gym but we never tried it. Overall, the price was great compared to other 4，5 star hotels.

“Amazing!”

Just amazing! The good, servers, bartenders, and drinks were fantastic! There was so much to do. I did Tabacon, Hanging Bridges, Frog Tour, and beautiful sunrises and Sunsets! “I want to be buried here.”

This place is SO good. We stayed in Casita 52 with our family and had the best time. You cannot beat the view of the volcano and surrounding area and the beds are so comfortable.
