“Beautiful property”

We loved our stay at TBL! The river boat ride to the property was so exciting and the property was gorgeous. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and we loved swimming in the pool. Recommend a nature hike / kayaking during your stay!

I enjoyed my 2 nights here. My room was basic, cosy and contained all I needed. The lack of A/C was not a problem - the ceiling fan did the trick and it was very, very wet and not particularly hot when I was there (late January, which is "dry season"). I enjoyed my 2 nights here. My room was basic, cosy and contained all I needed. The lack of A/C was not a problem - the ceiling fan did the trick and it was very, very wet and not particularly hot when I was there (late January, which is "dry season"). The staff were lovely and the food was ok, if rather monotonous. The grounds are well-kept and a few animals and birds paid a visit. There is a pretty little pool which I did not use due to the rain. WIFI is fine in the public areas but, in my room, despite not being too far away, it did not work. Our expeditions by boat were interesting, if wet.

This hotel was really out of the way at the northern end of the waterways. The food was pretty good. The rooms were fairly basic but there was comfortable bed and clean bathroom. No AC. Staff were very helpful.

Although always clean, the hotel is basic. The locational is absolutely stunning, you’re in the middle of the lagoons and on the beach which is beautiful. Although always clean, the hotel is basic. The locational is absolutely stunning, you’re in the middle of the lagoons and on the beach which is beautiful. The pool area was also lovely and much appreciated, with a well priced bar offering drinks. The excursions included were great and the additional evening tour is well worth it. However, the hotel is very basic. The room didn’t have a safe, any toiletries (even basic body wash) and towels were old and ragged. The rooms didn’t have windows, just mesh and the curtains did not cover the entire windows. This made privacy near on impossible and you were woken by sunrise. The food was awful. All buffet and very limited choices. A bell rang when food was served and even then it was cold and looked like it had been left out a while! We understand the location is remote, with it being difficult to transport some luxuries, but hoped for more. However the area is amazing allowing boat trips out on the lagoons to spot wildlife but the hotel amenities could use some TLC. Would recommend going for the amazing location and wildlife, but hope they improve the basics.
