“Perfect location”

Our first visit to Carboneras and we found a jewel of a hotel. Small, comfy, clean and very friendly. We stayed one night at this lovely part of Spain. Our first visit to Carboneras and we found a jewel of a hotel. Small, comfy, clean and very friendly. We stayed one night at this lovely part of Spain. Although the hotel has no actual parking of its own we easily found parking in the nearby streets. Beach was stunning, soft sand and not crowded. Situated on the paseo maritimo the hotel was in the perfect position for all the local amenities. Thoroughly spoit for the choice of bars and restaurants, all within an easy walk. Our room was at the front of the hotel with beautiful views over the bay for which we paid extra. The only drawback was that the room was open plan, in the sense that the bathroom formed part of the room, separated only by a small glass partition. This could result in some embarrassment with regard to privacy. The complimentary toiletries included soap, shampoo, shower gel etc. However there was no conditioner in the room. Reception confirmed that they did not supply this, but my saviour -Simon the waiter was able to provide me with some of his....what a legend!! The jewel in the crown is the position of the hotel. Would recommend.

“Good value for money”

Good value hotel overlooking the beach. Nice busy restaurant where breakfast is served. All facilities ok, not luxury but good enough. Nice hot shower. Had a balcony overlooking the Med. Table and chairs on balcony so a nice place to sit. Fridge in room to keep wine and water chilled. Lots… lisää

“4 day stay”

When we arrived we were greeted at reception and checked in by a 10 and 4 year old (no joke). When we arrived we were greeted at reception and checked in by a 10 and 4 year old (no joke). Obviously our inexperienced (but cute) receptionists had no clue about breakfast times, check out times etc. Our room was a twin rather than the double that we booked and after some discussion we changed rooms the following day. Wifi only works when literally stood next to the router in reception. This hotel is a pension. Don't expect hotel luxury- good location, right on the beach front. Very simple breakfast but we got used to it and liked it in the end.

“Nice and quiet hotel near to beach”

Simply hotel with simply rooms. Very cheap. Breakfast was only coffee or tea, juice and bread wiht ham or cheese. Beach was near and sumertime had to be very lovely place. Cheap and good choice if need place one night stay.

“Chiringuito”

We ate at the chiringuito. The location is nice in front of the beach. The waiter was helpful and tried to do his best to please us. We ordered boquerones, calamares and 2 glasses of white wines.
