“Fabulous hotel”

Second visit to this hotel and just as good as last. Clean comfortable and well equipped. Great location. Lovely (small) sheltered rooftop area. Fabulous staff. Great breakfast. Will be back.

The Estepona Plaza is a small “boutique “ hotel in the middle of the flower decked town. It is set in a small plaza (obviously!) just yards from the sea front, and right on the edge of the old town. The Estepona Plaza is a small “boutique “ hotel in the middle of the flower decked town. It is set in a small plaza (obviously!) just yards from the sea front, and right on the edge of the old town. There are plenty of restaurants and bars very close by, and it can sometimes be a little noisy at night, not that it bothered us (in any case, you can close the shutter doors, which appear to have double glazing) and put on the air con if you want quiet. The hotel is modern in style, and spotlessly clean. The beds, linen and pillows were by far the most comfortable we have had in 50 plus years of holidays in Spain! A very nice buffet breakfast is available, but they don’t cater for lunch or dinner. There is a small pool and sitting area on the roof - pretty sure it’s the only hotel in the town itself that has a pool. All the staff were friendly and helpful. If staying there I would suggest a room above say the second floor, as some of the lower ones can be overlooked directly from the buildings opposite. The rooms don’t have balconies you can sit on, but small juliet type balconies. Also, there are not many places to sit inside the hotel if you just want to read, although there are comfortable seats outside under the sun canopies. I’m not sure this is a family hotel, but I would wholeheartedly recommend it for couples.

“Great location”

First time to estepona won’t be the last! Hotel in great location next to beach and bars restaurants on your doorstep. Pool area disappointing doesn’t open until 11am only 4 deckchairs for 30 rooms and bar stools I’m sure the space could be better utilised. Breakfast is good with lots of choice … lisää

First time to estepona won’t be the last! Hotel in great location next to beach and bars restaurants on your doorstep. Breakfast is good with lots of choice but fresh orange juice should be provided not concentrate and more choice rather than just orange. Overall a lovely stay.

“Perfect stay ruined by poor bathroom ventilation in my room.”

Had a wonderful stay recently at this hotel. My room was 405. Corner room overlooking the plaza behind the hotel and the hill beyond. The hotel staff were super nice and friendly. They have a sitting area outside to relax. And the location is unbeatable for proximity to the beach and old town. So… lisää

Had a wonderful stay recently at this hotel. My room was 405. Corner room overlooking the plaza behind the hotel and the hill beyond. The hotel staff were super nice and friendly. They have a sitting area outside to relax. And the location is unbeatable for proximity to the beach and old town. So why the 3 star rating? The bathroom spotlessly clean and well appointed had a major ventilation problem. In the morning and some times in the evenings I could smell other bathroom odors seeping in through the ventilation system. Had to keep the outside window tilted open to be able to use it in the morning. And this happened all 4 mornings I was there and even reported at the reception multiple times with no solution. This was gross and really the only big issue with my stay. Maybe I will stay there if I get a different room unless it is a problem with all bathrooms in the hotel. Would love to hear from other guests if they had any similar experience at this hotel.
