What a fantastic little place this is. Small (11 bedrooms) and family run but the facilities and standard of accommodation are light years ahead of what you'd expect from any equivalent hotel. William (Senior) and his son William (Junior) were welcoming and friendly always there with information, advice and tips of where to visit; their knowledge is approaching encyclopaedic! Nothing was too much trouble for them of their staff.

“EXCELLENT HOTEL FOR A SHORT BREAK”

Lovely family run hotel with 11 bedrooms where we stayed for one night. Wished we had stayed longer. All members of the hotel are warm, welcoming and helpful. Lovely family run hotel with 11 bedrooms where we stayed for one night. Wished we had stayed longer. All members of the hotel are warm, welcoming and helpful. We had a garden room which was very well presented and both the bedroom and bathroom were large and comfortable.We had a small terrace area outside for sitting. It has lovely views especially from the outside terrace and bar area. It has a good sized swimming pool too.No restaurant for evening meals but plenty of choices in the town.

Interesting arrival in the magical village of Fornalutz arriving by taxi from the airport only to find ourselves misdirected up the enchanting ancient streets. In the heat of the day I left my husband with the bags and managed to find Can Vedera down a very quiet side street to be warmly welcomed William who then trekked back up the hill with me to fetch luggage and husband! This began a really perfect 6 day retreat in this stylish hotel; fabulous pool, hidden areas to relax, read and take in the stunning views and tropical gardens. Our hosts gave suggestions and advice on the best reclusive beaches, perfect fresh fish to eat and scooter hire that enabled us to experience the surrounding mountains in an exciting way. Make sure also to enjoy a massage as it is first class. My only reservation would be if you are considering this hotel book it directly. The agencies take a sizeable fee for doing very little and all the staff and owners speak fluent English and you will probably pay less.

The photographs cannot describe just how lovely this hotel is. We just returned from honeymoon where we spent 8 nights at this little paradise. The rooms were comfortable with lovely large bathrooms and all important air conditioning. The hotel is like a little oasis of calm where we spent a few days lounging by the pool. Once the sun was setting we would have a glass of wine or cava on theopen terrace looking out over the valley at the tremontera mountains before strolling a few yards down to the centre of the village for a bite to eat. The village is stunning and has a number of excellent restaurants well worth a visit. This was also a great base to discover other parts of the island too. You can walk to Soller in about 45 minutes, from there you can get a tram to Port de Soller or an old fashioned wooden train to Palma. We rented a car for a few days to explore some of the amazing beaches and villages Majorca has to offer. We would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break and we cannot wait to return.
