We spent a week at the Livvo Lumm and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal for us - a little way out of the centre but with excellent bus links and great walks from the door step. The hotel itself had excellent facilities, was immaculate and offered a beautiful buffet breakfast with a great selection of fresh items, as well as an 'eggs menu' from which you could order benedict, omelette, turkish & poached. The rooms were spacious and well equipped and the roof top bar was a relaxing space with great views. Having said all of this, what sets this hotel apart from many was the team of staff who were helpful, efficient and most of all friendly and welcoming. The hotel management should be very proud to have such a great team working for them.

“Definitely a city hotel”

The good bits Perfectly situated overlooking the cruise terminal and within easy walking distance of local transport, this hotel is good for visiting Las Palmas. It's about a 10 minutes walk to the long beach and the promenade with all it's cafes, restaurants and tourist shops. There are also many other restaurants in the streets and alleyways in between. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfasts well presented with plenty of choice, the rooms are adequate with a well equipped bathroom and, the one thing I liked was that the toilet is a separate cubicle within the bathroom. The not so good bits On arrival we were bombarded with times for the breakfast, the main bar, the rooftop bar and more. It would have been nice to have a list of the times in the room for reference. The main bar closes early so no nightcap on the way back to the room. The rooftop bar is only open Friday Saturday and Sunday despite information boards in the lobby saying it's open from Wednesday to Sunday. The rooftop bar doesn't do coffee despite all the coffee choices being listed in the drinks menu. Finally storage. As this is a city hotel many people probably only stay a few days but we were there on a package holiday for 10 days, chosen for it's location, and there was a shortage of storage space. Just one small drawer and two equally small shelves. On the whole I would recommend this hotel but it does have it's limitations.

“Good Hotel, grotty area.”

Stayed here for a few days to celebrate my wife's birthday. The hotel is very nice, quiet and welcoming, the area it's in however is dirty, full of graffiti (a lot of Tourists go home....) and uninspiring. We took a day trip and ended up in Puerto Morgan and my face dropped I wish we'd booked there. Breakfast is good, nice rooftop bar and the staff are great.

We’ve just returned from LIVVO LUMM, a very welcoming urban/city hotel. From the moment you step into the foyer, you’re greeted with a lovely fragrance and friendly reception staff, which sets the tone straight away. The location is ideal — close enough to the beach, and convenient for shopping and restaurants. yet perfectly placed for town life, shopping, and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious, well designed and comfortable. We stayed in a Double Deluxe Superior Sea View room. Rooms were equipped with hair straighteners, teas, coffees and water was also provided daily. Breakfast was enjoyable overall. While the vegetarian options (such as vegetarian sausages) were a little limited, the egg selection was excellent and tasted lovely — the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was a favourite. The gym is very small, which is why I’ve given four stars, as we do appreciate a well-equipped hotel gym. The pool at the sky bar was also a little underwhelming compared to the photos, which was surprising. That said, these were only minor niggles (along with the absence of an iron — only a steamer provided). We really enjoyed our stay. It was my partner’s birthday, and the hotel kindly surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake, which was a lovely touch. We also visited during national holidays, and the carnival atmosphere was great fun. So, would we stay at LIVVO LUMM again? Absolutely. Excellent service, top-tier cleanliness, reasonably priced, and an ideal location.
