“Quiet, beautiful stone building.”

There is essentially zero traffic on the street by the hotel, because it is in the ancient part of town where only locals may drive. There is essentially zero traffic on the street by the hotel, because it is in the ancient part of town where only locals may drive. The town is beautiful, and there is an excellent walk to the Castle from the town. The breakfast is only adequate. I don't know if they have WiFi or not, but the TV only had Spanish and Catalan language channels. The rooms are lovely and comfortable with partially stone walls, air conditioning that works well and a nice bathroom. We traveled with several other groups and everybody was happy with the hotel.

“A top hotel for a bike trip”

Verry friendly personal who took care of us. The room was pritty and clean, not luxury but everything you need was there. The breakfast was basic but fresh and tasted well. The hotel is in the centre of the town. Congrats to the family with there work and hotel.

We booked this hotel months before traveling as we were traveling during peak season and this hotel was available and reasonably priced. The location suited us traveling from Barcelona. We booked this hotel months before traveling as we were traveling during peak season and this hotel was available and reasonably priced. The location suited us traveling from Barcelona. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and the village. Took us a while to find hotel with gps trying to take us to the door. Very small roads mostly suited to walking, so we parked on the main road and found hotel in the medieval part of the village. Staff were helpful and friendly and room was clean and tidy with older style bathroom. We got a ticket during the ten minutes we were parked, so be warned to fill the meter. Free parking at the roundabout end on main street so be prepared to drag bags around.

We stayed here with the intention of visiting Peratallada but found Torroelleas de Montgri to be a wonderfully charming town also. Fonda Mitja is a very clean - almost new - hotel. It is a family run hotel and the service reflects this - down to earth rather than professionally slick. But everyone … lisää

We stayed here with the intention of visiting Peratallada but found Torroelleas de Montgri to be a wonderfully charming town also. Fonda Mitja is a very clean - almost new - hotel. It is a family run hotel and the service reflects this - down to earth rather than professionally slick. But everyone made a real effort and we had a thoroughly good time. The only thing to mark it down was that its location (great for sight seeing) does mean that it is in the centre of the old town then narrow streets mean that the rooms do get noise from the street but this is a small price to pay for a great room at an excellent price.
