The hotel is located next to toll road, probably can be annoying for those who hate noises. To me, personally it was okay. Luckily I was appointed in a room in top floor so noises for the toll road didn't bother me that much. The hotel staff's were friendly, check in check out was quick and efficient. You'll get a bottle of teh botol sosro when you check in. I wished they had the less sugar option though. The room was okay, proper enough to rest. The wifi was good also. Breakfast buffet was okay for a budget hotel. Taste wise was so so, still edible, not bad.

“Fair Budget Hotel”

The location of the hotel is very good. Near to the Bekasi Barat toll gate. You don't need to go into the traffic jam. The price also very good not to mention with the price offered you are given with the breakfast. The breakfast was fair enough. Not so many varieties, just ok. However 1 thing is… lisää

The location of the hotel is very good. Near to the Bekasi Barat toll gate. You don't need to go into the traffic jam. The price also very good not to mention with the price offered you are given with the breakfast. The breakfast was fair enough. Not so many varieties, just ok. However 1 thing is missing is the soundproof. The hotel is very noisy since it was located right beside the busy toll road. I barely hard to sleep since my room window is directly facing the toll road and i can see the toll road from my room.

“Budget friendly”

Amaris Bekasi Barat is just enough considering the price, it is a nice hotel to stay, also near a mini market. Service is okay, nothing to complain. The room is nice and quiet. Parking area is a little bit annoying since I could see the staff taking a rest.

The Amaris Hotel at Bekasi Barat is 2 stars rated property. I got the room rate around 300k from Traveloka. There are only 2 budget hotel near Bekasi City, and Amaris simply provided a lower room rate. Location and Building: The hotel located on the heart of Bekasi city. The exact location is pretty unique; just at the corner of an U-turn, below fly over to Pekayon. Quite easy to be accessed, but the location itself only have limited choices for public transportation. Parking lot quite spacious for cars, and there's a motorcycle parking space too. The building itself served by 2 lifts; locked by access card system. Ground floor is dedicated for receptionist and restaurant and there is meeting room and mushola for Moslem guests. What can I say from the ground floor is this is a typical budget hotel, small space with compact arrangement to serve every needs. There's beverages and ice cream display case for guest who wants some refreshments. There's also some drinks around the restaurant near reception desk, but I don't know if that a self service welcome drink or not (no staff that offered it also). Check in and room: Check in time is 14.00. I came to the hotel around 12.00, in hope to get early check in. Unfortunately my intention was denied, because according to the front officer the hotel was full booked last night. Came back at 14.00 and no problem at check in. I got the room 302. The front officer handed the access card and wifi account information. No breakfast coupon given. My room is situated just across the lift door at 3rd floor. The door can be opened using your access card. No bell, but there's a door knocker attached at the door. Being a budget hotel, the room is design in minimalist style. There's a queen size bed, with 2 nightstands attached to the wall. There is a desk, a chair, a coffee glass, but no closet. Instead of a closet, there,s a place to hang your clothes in the corner of room, and below that there's a safe deposit box. A pair slippers was provided. No electric kettle in the room, but there's a water dispenser at every floor. The room is well lit, with 2 lamps at the side of the bed, 1 lap over the desk, and also a lamp at the doorway. The room was air conditioned, and you can easily control the temperature using the AC remote control. There's one window in my room with toll road view. Roller blind functioned perfectly to block sunlight. For your entertainment there's a TV, with local and international channel. The cable channels from Indovision were very limited. Another problem was the broadcast quality for some channel was so bad, I wonder how can that could be happen if you using a cable satellite system like Indovision. Another facility is a telephone, and you should press 0 for any service you needed (stated on the access card holder). There's also some mini notes, guest comment card, and for writing purpose there's a pencil. Sadly, the pencil was broken and no one care to sharpened it I guess. My impressions for the room are pretty clean, security is okay, but the wear and tear is noticeable; lots of scratch on the bed, desk, safety deposit box etc. I didn't see a sleek finished room either from the room construction. Bathroom: Pretty small bathroom in the room, with standard facilities; a washbasin, a mirror, shower box, and toilet. No toiletries provided, but there's a soap and shampoo dispenser next to the shower. The soap dispenser in my room was filled enough with soap, but I think it's broken, since no soap came out when I press the dispenser button. Water pressure was okay, but Ii prefer higher water pressure. Hot water was good at first, but when I take shower at the morning, the hot water didn't come as hot as yesterday shower. I'm pretty impressed the hotel not only provided a shower, but there's a water spout under the shower, that I think really helpful for a Moslem to take wudhu. The water flow can be altered form shower to the spout using a tap, but when I tried to alter it, the tap was so loose and it didn't alter anything. The toilet it self has a water spray gun for rear wash purpose, but when I used it, it seems there is a leak on the hose, which make some water go through the floor. My other comment is there's no clear sign for hot water and cold water tap, so I need to try it whether the tap is for cold or hot water. Service: I have minimal interaction with the staff, but I can say there's just a standard politeness and friendliness in this hotel. Breakfast: Breakfast start at 06.00. There's Indonesian menu buffet and it's condiment (sambal and krupuk)t, rice congee station, omelette station, bread station, coffee machine, fruits station, and beverages station. The buffet consists of steamed rice, fried rice, fried kwetiau, capcay, eggplant-tempeh-salted fish balado, and chicken gulai. The taste was nice and okay, except for the balado since the fish way too salty. The congee was on thick side consistency and the yellow broth not rich enough for me (like a clear soup and tasteless). Omelette was standard. Bread station pretty solid with its toaster and selections of jam and spread. They have a coffee machine (Nescafe Allegria) for instant serve, but there's also tea and coffee dispenser if you want customize your drinks by yourself. Another beverages was melon syrup and infused water. Surprisingly the infused water was sweetened, almost like a lemonade for me. They served watermelon and melon at the fruit station. The service was average. There's only one staff to looked after whole restaurant including check the food, clearing tables, and make the omelette for guests. Because of that, used plates cannot be cleared from my table quick enough. Other facilities: 3 meeting rooms, parking space, mushola. No pool, gym, or business center. Newspaper is provided at reception desk. Check out: Check out time at 12.00. The process was smooth, only giving the access card to the front officer. Conclusion: Although Amaris is a budget hotel, I think the standard for service and facilities cannot be lowered. Please take some attention to the facilities and property itself, since I found many scratches, dent, across the hotel that make me thinks the hotel build using cheap material. Another things is I think I don't get the Amaris warmth and hospitality during my stay.
