“Lovely place for relaxing”

Perfect place to spend some days relaxing in front of the beach! The rooms are clean, the staff is great, the beach in front of the hotel is great for snorkeling and there are friendly dogs for playing or swimming with you to brighten your day during your stay. Highly recommend this place!

And though we only paid around 30GBP for a night in an apartment, I would love to have come here pre covid when the price may have been more, but the place didn’t feel so dilapidated. It feels like every time something breaks, it’s left broken. Broken blinds. Broken drawers. A shower with no hot water. The wide screen TV promised by Booking.com left the building some time ago. A sign promises ‘eat and drink’ which, if you count the breakfast and teabag tea / instant coffee, isn’t technically wrong. Just a bit misleading. The place feels understaffed. Teabags left on tables and empty vodka bottles in the garden is a super budget look. But this place was never built to be budget. The mosaic patterns inlaid into the path were placed there lovingly. You can tell it once had a kind of grandeur. Now it runs out of milk a hour into breakfast. So, if you’re on a tight budget, any room here is a bargain. The view is awesome and the region (and people) lovely. I just wish an entrepreneur would buy the place and bring the glory back

Gone down hill since covid. Nowhere near as attractive as photos of the property show. Rooms still look nice inside, but there is a distinct lack of attention paid to buildings and grounds. Gone down hill since covid. Nowhere near as attractive as photos of the property show. Rooms still look nice inside, but there is a distinct lack of attention paid to buildings and grounds. Outdoor furniture broken, and if still in existence, it is very dirty and uninviting. This hotel has potential but badly needs money spent on getting it back to its best. After looking at other rooms, we chose the suite with sea view. Nice inside, but windows are filthy dirty and the view is mostly of roofs of lobby, facilities and other rooms. No hot water, and only a dribble from the shower head making it impossible to rinse shampoo from hair. It is possible to swim off the rock wall but concrete steps down to the water are sharp and mossy, as is the handrail. Extremely dangerous and you need swimming shoes.
