Gorgeous property in a gorgeous beach town -the hotel is located dire you across the street from the beach. For €16 per day, you get everything one may need - towels, chairs, a huge umbrella. The hotel’s rooms are super updated, the concierge speaks fluent English so you feel like home.

My mother was born in Lago, a small town nearby, and spent her summers in Amantea. We only had one night to visit and they found us a driver to show us Lago and Amantea. It helped make this a very memorable part of our Italian vacation !

“Family holiday”

Just returned from our 3rd time at this lovely hotel. My husband, daughter, son in law ad 6 month grandson went. The staff were fantastic, always had a high chair ready for the baby. We stopped 7 nights, ate at the hotel restaurant for 5, the other two we were invited to family. The food was del… lisää

Just returned from our 3rd time at this lovely hotel. My husband, daughter, son in law ad 6 month grandson went. The staff were fantastic, always had a high chair ready for the baby. We stopped 7 nights, ate at the hotel restaurant for 5, the other two we were invited to family. The food was delicious and value for money. At breakfast, egg and pancetta was available if desired. We hired a car, which we picked up St Eufemia Airport. We went to Cosenza, where my family live. We saw the dinosaur models on Corso Mazzini which are impressive. We drove to Soverato which is very pretty. Quiet at this time of the year. Amantea is also pretty, especially the old town. It was a lovely holiday and recommend Hotel La Tonnara.

As we stayed off season, it was quiet but would likely be much busier during the summer months.
