This place was quite the dream stay! We received friendly communication from the daughter since the hosts did not speak English but this was not an issue. They were fast to pick us up from the trains station, show us around the place, make us breakfast and drop us off at the station. The place was impeccably clean. The view from the balcony was amazing and the lemon bed was beautiful. Have I also mentioned they have the sweetest dog named Diego! I wish we had stayed here longer and would 110% come back. Thank you for your amazing hospitality!

This place is pure bliss, PURE BLISS. A lemon hideaway in the hills of Piano Sorrento, safely secured by a few gates and Diego the friendly dog. There is a personal balcony of breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains, as well as a huge balcony where you can just relax and see more of the Mediterranean. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, we had a freshly made breakfast in the morning as well. This is the absolute best and most authentic place you can stay at if you’re near Sorrento or Amalfi. We also received free pick up taxi service from Piano station and to and from where we needed to go. HIGHLY recommend and commend Bed & Lemons. Thank you!

“Genuine Kindness”

I shall start my review with a haiku: We love Italy Bed and Lemons best of all Genuine kindness My family has stayed at Bed and Lemons 12 times. We joke that a trip to Italy does not count unless we visit Giovanni and Rosa. It has become a meaningful and much anticipated part of every vacation. Our first stay at Bed and Lemons was in 2004. I was looking for a romantic location for our third wedding anniversary. A villa in a lemon grove overlooking the Bay of Naples sounded perfect. It was. We returned the following year. In 2006, we returned once more, with child number one in tow. Rosa and Giovanni treated her like a little princess, and that sealed the deal. The best part of each visit is breakfast, when we get to spend time with our host family. My wife and I speak a little Italian, and Rosa and Giovanni are very patient with us. Their daughter, Erica, speaks English very well. (During our last trip, she made an excellent recommendation for a nearby gluten free bakery/restaurant.) A personal connection makes travel so much more meaningful, and we relish every insight into local life. In 2017, the upstairs apartments were renovated and modernized. A galley kitchen was installed between the entrance to the upstairs rooms and the outdoor patio, so that all rooms have access to cooking facilities and a refrigerator. Previously, there was a kitchen in the largest upstairs apartment, but our favorite suite did not have cooking facilities. Piano di Sorrento has many great restaurants, but after a long day of sightseeing with children, sometimes it is really nice to enjoy a simple meal prepared at "home" and relax with a bottle of wine. Especially when there is a nice large patio overlooking lemon trees and the Bay of Naples. La dolce vita. By now any reader obviously knows that we love Bed and Lemons, but why is a visit to Piano di Sorrento integral to your Italian vacation? Piano di Sorrento has train, bus, and roadways linking it to a vast array of tourist destinations (without the crowds and craziness of Napoli, or the high prices of Sorrento). Visit the vibrant and amazing city of Napoli, the haunting Roman ruins at Pompeii and Herculaneum, chic Capri, or the amazing Amalfi Coast, and return to your peaceful oasis among the lemon trees.

“Fantastic”

Superb family atmosphere couldn't do enough to make your stay the best. Fantastic lemon grove. mama's breakfast good. We found bed and lemon one of the nicest friendliest places in Italy to stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a b&b
