I stayed in this hotel on a holiday with the Travel Department Company from Ireland in September 2025. The hotel is beside the beach in a quiet location about 15 mins walk from town centre. It has a pool and a hot pool. The staff were extremely nice and pleasant. We had half board and all I can is that the food was wonderful. Mussels and clams as starters along with a huge range of salads. Great choice of main course, and desserts were magnificent. Lovely views from the dining room of the sea. I would love to return to this hotel, which is family run and friendly, not like the standard Corporate hotel which is the same no matter where you are in the world. I stayed in room 310.

“What a gem of a hotel!”

What a lovely friendly hotel in a quieter location along the Adriatic Coast. Gabicce Mare is less commercialised than its larger neighbours Cattolica and Rimini, but may not suit if you are looking for lots of nightlife. What a lovely friendly hotel in a quieter location along the Adriatic Coast. Gabicce Mare is less commercialised than its larger neighbours Cattolica and Rimini, but may not suit if you are looking for lots of nightlife. However if you are looking for a traditional Italian hotel with amazing food and impecable service then look no further. We stayed for 10 days and were sad to leave. We had a side sea view room on the top floor which gave an excellent panoramic view and benefited from air conditioning. The main pool is quite small so would be very busy in high season, although there is a smaller partly enclosed jacuzzi pool and of course, the indoor spa area at extra cost. The highlight for us was the amazing food and the service we received from all the staff. Be aware that if you choose to travel here in October, the weather can be unpredictable and the small resort does partly close down.

We were there, for a week, as part of a larger group with trips on most of the days. Our room (311, in the building slightly detached from the main hotel) was spacious and had a decent-sized balcony with good sun exposure (not all rooms had both). We were there half-board and the food was quite good and varied, though the hot offering for breakfast was quite poor, deserts were outstanding. I also had an excellent massage treatment. About 10 mins walk to the town centre, no huge restaurant choice and the area overall was quiet, the Italians appear to give up on the sun spots by mid-September. Would most definitely stay there again.
