What a find . This is a great little Agroturismo restaurant . Silvestro and his Mother make wonderfully if eccentric hosts. What a find . This is a great little Agroturismo restaurant . Silvestro and his Mother make wonderfully if eccentric hosts. Unusually for La Puglia in August it was raining but Silvestro assured us that it would stop soon. We were served fresh Ricotta cheese, salami with fennel, Aubergine with mint, zucchini with basil and freshly made focaccia . Then little sausages, white bean purée and chicoria (beet tops) with lemon juice . The rain became heavier and the last straw it started to dilute the lovely Rose wine that we had been given ( I am not a fan of rosé but this was great) . Finally we had to give up and move inside to the main room of the farm , lots of muttering from Mama about the rain but further delights followed with a choice of roasted meat or pasta . We chose pasta - cavalatel with creamed zucchini , minted pistachio sauce and side orders of salad and home made chips with rosemary . To finish a small plate of strawberry tart and cantuccio. Just as we thought we should leave Silvestro appeared with an aged Pecorino cheese which he finally sliced and cut into thin strips, then offered us his pride and joy - a liqueur which he had made 50 times but only now had perfected - red onion liqueur . It was bizarrely good with the Pecorino . Finally we settled our bill of just euro 40 for the two of us - but decided to Leave a meaty tip - Go and enjoy !

“Authentic, rural bed & breakfast”

We stayed in this bed & breakfast in September for three nights. The weather started to get a bit rainy and chilly. So we were glad there was air conditioning in the room, that we used for heating. We stayed in this bed & breakfast in September for three nights. The weather started to get a bit rainy and chilly. So we were glad there was air conditioning in the room, that we used for heating. The room itself was really basic with bathroom on the corridor. The absolute best thing with this b&b are the delicious three course dinners they serve. It is authentic italian cuisine and it's a bargain. The dinners fit you if you are prepared to eat anything. You just go and sit at the table, no ordering, they bring the same dish to everyone. Location is really good to explore lovely Puglia if you have a car. They have quite many dogs on the property. This place is not suitable for people who have allergies even though the dogs are not allowed indoors.
