“Nice weekend trip”

We stayed one weekend in february and it was a very nice stay. Although it seemed that we were the inly guests, the personnel was very friendly and we had a warm welcome and a god service. Rooms are clean and have new furniture. As we were the only guests for breakfast, the buffet was good and the chief would have made us every request fresh and personal. The restaurant is excellent - good seafood and good vines.

“Good hotel position.”

We stayed at the Lo Scogllo for 5 nights, the room was clean and of a good size. The bathroom was small and the shower cubicle was miniscule. being a large chap i had to shower with the door open, my wife (of average size) could not even bend over to wash her lower half with the door closed. We stayed at the Lo Scogllo for 5 nights, the room was clean and of a good size. The bathroom was small and the shower cubicle was miniscule. being a large chap i had to shower with the door open, my wife (of average size) could not even bend over to wash her lower half with the door closed. The view from the balcony was over the harbour and was beautiful. No restaurant, no tea/coffee making facility in the room. There was a bar for coffe drinks etc, but you had to go looking for someone to serve you. I used this hotel 16 years ago and it seems to have gone down hill a little since then, but it might be because it was out of season. The position is good to explore the town and restaurants. Its a good base to explore the surrounding country etc.

“Superb place, good staff, but the beds and basic rooms ket them down”

So this has really great vibe music and also opportunity to swim in the sea from your own private spot. The grounds are good, the staff are good, the parking is perfect, the breakfast is good. The one thing that took away from all of this was. The quality of the beds. Not good. Soft. And more.like … lisää

This.is on for.one.or two nights but if you choose to.stay longer then do get the most superior rooms.or apartments, to enjoy the evenings and night as much as the day. (I booked a standard comfort room). Would.i stay here again? Yes but for a short time and I would.get the very best rooms

“With management effort and a little bit of maintenance work this could be a four star hotel. Staff are its best asset.”

Stayed here for two nights for our wedding anniversary. We thought we had booked a special room but was disappointed what we got for the price. However, Marco on reception soon sorted it out for us to change rooms to one bigger and nicer. Internet was touch and go but again staff came to the rescue… lisää

Stayed here for two nights for our wedding anniversary. We thought we had booked a special room but was disappointed what we got for the price. However, Marco on reception soon sorted it out for us to change rooms to one bigger and nicer. Internet was touch and go but again staff came to the rescue and sorted it out. In fact, all members of staff in this hotel could not have been nicer. Lovely breakfast, the waitress was really nice. We went 'out of season' according to the Italian way, which meant the hotel grounds were untidy and grubby. The bin area could do with being screened off or covered. Television in room ridiculously small! What a shame that such a beautiful location is not attractive all year round, the locals could become very rich if only they realised the potential of the area. Would not pay the same price again for 'out of season' standards. if it wasn't for the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff we may have checked out the day we arrived.
