What a lovely hotel with really amazing staff from the waiters/waitresses/Receptionists/cleaners and the pool bar staff. Our room was cleaned daily. I could not fault this hotel at all. The swimming pool was not cleaned very much during our 2 week stay (in fact I don't know what the pool guy did all day apart from being on his phone and smoking - he was the boyfriend of Claudia). Claudia was so funny and such a bubbly person. On our last day my husband did approach the owner and mentioned the debris that was in the pool - give him his due he got the new pool guy to clean it (which he did) and it looked a lot better. We could not knock the hote at all - as to the actual resort - it is very pretty, not very big but unfortunately we were not a fan of the food that the restuarants served. They do not cater at all for vegi's and unless you like a lot of shell fish you are quite stuck. The resort is very pricey!!

We've just come back from a 10 night stay at Hotel Cormorano and have had a wonderful time. The location is perfect - step out the back of the hotel and you're into the midst of the small resort, sops and restaurants. Step out the front and you are a 2 minute walk to the nearest beach. We had a cloudy day so explored the other beaches - there are 2 within walking distance. Mucchi Bianchi in particular stole our hearts. Crystal clear, calm waters. The resort is small and relaxed, but still had plenty of food choice for us. Some people felt there wasn't alot of entertainment, but we didn't go for evening entertainment so we were more than happy. If you do want a bit more going on, then i'd suggest going earlier in the season or somewhere else. The rooms were large - we had a superior double with partial sea view which was lovely. It had everything that we needed. A special thank you to Sofia our housekeeper, who kept the room immaculate. The hotel itself has a lovely Sardinia charm. It has bar area by the pool, which we found very reasonable for the area. Also a bar inside which I presume is open earlier in the season. The restaurant has a lovely view of the sea. The breakfast was incredible. So plentiful and had everything that you could possibly want. One of the highlights were the staff - notable thanks to Vittoria, Gaetano, the very funny Claudia and of course Antonio. He is such a charming, funny manager and runs a tight but happy ship. I would totally disagree with a previous review about the reception staff being rude. They were incredibly pleasant and helpful to us. I would highly recommend the area and hotel. We will certainly return.

Got back from this lovely Hotel on the 27th of September after staying a week. On arrival and throughout the stay the staff were very helpful and friendly. Got back from this lovely Hotel on the 27th of September after staying a week. On arrival and throughout the stay the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room we had was 411, kept beautiful clean, looking over the pool with a parcial view of the sea. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection, the meal in the evening was a 4 course with a good choice which was of an excellent standard. Special thanks to Antonio and his team. It's a nice pool area. but the beach was a different class gin clear water and flat sandy beach ideal for children and snorkelling. The resort was spotless with lovely bars and restaurants very laid back . Would definitely recommend doing the black boat tour which picks up in the harbour daily at 9am weather permitting. Also, Porto Cervo for designer shops. Would highly recommend this hotel and resort will definitely be returning i would probably hire a car next time.

We stayed at Hotel Cormorano in Baja Sardinia and had a pleasant holiday, but the hotel didn’t quite meet 4-star standards. The position and the cleanliness were very good but the facilities and food were more like a 3-star. The restaurant team were wonderful — Antonio (maître d’), Vittoria, and all the staff were so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The room cleaners were also lovely, efficient, and always cheerful, making us feel very well cared for. Unfortunately, the reception staff were unfriendly, and the manager’s attitude at checkout was disappointing — no farewell or even a simple “how was your stay.” We hope management takes note, as the restaurant and cleaning staff truly are the heart of this hotel.
