My wife and I stayed there for three nights in late September. Loved the hotel and the town. Great beach location with lots of options for shopping and eating. Staff was very courteous and helpful. We had an issue with our bathroom and they promptly fixed it and actually gave is a very nice credit (unsolicited by us) on our bill at checkout. Would highly recommend and definitely stay there again.

“Exquisite!”

Exquisite from start to end. I came with my husband, hoping for a peaceful/luxury 3 night stay and that is certainly what we had! There is ample parking at the front of the hotel, and immediately upon entering, there was a lovely welcome. Our room was superb- everything was clean and carefully thought of. From the robe, slippers and beach bag (complimentary during your stay) to the beautiful decor in the room- I couldn't find any faults. The view from the balcony (we had a deluxe room on the first floor) was beautiful. We stayed half board and I would definitely recommend. Each night we had a 4 course meal- all the dishes were delicious and again, we couldn't find fault. The evening meal overlooks the beautiful pool and gardens and the service was excellent. Golf Aranci itself is a quaint, quiet resort with a few shops, bars and restaurants. However we found the hotel was one of the most luxury places there so we didn't need to venture out too much. However the hotel is in a good, seafront central location. There is a beautiful beach nearby with a lovely beach cafe/bar on it too. Thank you very much for the fine service and wonderful experience we had- we will certainly be back!

“Perfect family get away”

We had a lovely 7 night stay here. The hotel was spotless and our room looking out to sea was perfect. The staff were all incredibly helpful and polite, quickly resolving a cot being made up in error for our 14 year old! 🤣 when we arrived. We had a lovely 7 night stay here. The hotel was spotless and our room looking out to sea was perfect. The staff were all incredibly helpful and polite, quickly resolving a cot being made up in error for our 14 year old! 🤣 when we arrived. The pool area always had plenty of space with lovely gardens surrounding it and with drinks/ snacks just a push of a button away which was fab. The breakfast was just right we always found plenty we all liked. We ate in the restaurant a few times and found the food incredible with Alfredo and the team offering a first class service. The town has lots of lovely restaurants to choose from and while we were there they was always something happening in the square behind the hotel. There are a number of beaches within walking distance. The hotel have a number of excursions you can join by boat or bus (as we didn’t hire a car on this occasion), they even accommodated a last minute request from us, the bus tour we joined was excellent and a great opportunity to meet other fellow travellers and see other parts of the island. We also chose to hire e-bikes during our stay with a company based in San Pantaleo who delivered the bikes to the hotel and picked them back up, the hotel staff again happily advised where we could keep the bikes secured overnight and to charge them. The hotel is located near some great trails suitable for bikes running or hiking passing other beaches on your travels. We cycled up to Capo Figari where the views at the top were amazing and enjoyed running several routes around the area.

“Beautiful location but uncomfortable bed and disappointing customer service”

The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the water front with a good sized pool and beautiful garden. The room sizes are good and the view from the balcony is spectacular. The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the water front with a good sized pool and beautiful garden. The room sizes are good and the view from the balcony is spectacular. The shower has good power and all the toiletries you need. The fitness room is well equipped. The restaurant food is excellent quality and selection, with very good local wines. However I cannot give this a 5 star review because I booked the hotel as it has a hamman and massage service. I enquired through Expedia message about the massage services and was told ‘don’t worry you can book when you arrive’. I arrived at 1pm and was told the massage was fully booked for the whole day but there was availability the next day at 1pm or 7pm, I said thats during lunch or dinner. She then called another therapist to come the next day at 6pm. I asked to book the hamman for the hour before my massage and she said ‘yes that’s all booked for you’. I returned early from the beach the next day to go to the hamman before my massage but I was told ‘sorry it has already been booked’. I said that’s not possible as I booked it and was told ‘you must have misunderstood’. She then called 10 minutes before my massage to say it was available, which was pointless. The room was advertised as a double but it was in fact two single beds pushed together with very uncomfortable single mattresses. When I complained the receptionist looked surprised and said ‘oh you did not request this? She took the two bottles of water off my tab, which considering there should have been a fresh bottle each day free but there wasn’t, I don’t think it’s a far enough gesture considering I didn’t get to relax in the hamman and I woke up with a sore back from being in the crack of the two beds. It’s a shame as I would have like to recommend this hotel but it didn’t feel like they cared about customer service.
