This is a wonderfully relaxing, laid back hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had some excellent recommendations for local Restaurants and places to visit. Our room had its own little pool and two sunbeds and we just chilled most days. The room we had was very comfortable (apart from the pillows on the bed) and very well appointed. Coffee maker, kettle and little treats left every evening. Breakfast was just ok. No granola or cereal (we went out to buy some)….not very much fruit - a bit of melon and some fresh figs. Lots of cake and different bread. You could order cooked breakfast, but I would have liked to see more fruit. We didn’t use the main pool, it looked lovely though. All in all a great few days of peace and tranquility.

We just returned from a few nights at Cascioni. Neither me or my husband have ever slept so well - the beds are SO comfortable. The interior deco is really lovely everywhere and extremely calming. The location is SO beautiful. The view across the hills make you feel very relaxed but is still only a 10 minute drive from really fabulous beaches. The property is small and quiet. It was fully booked when we were there but we hardly saw other guests at the pool. The staff are lovely and really go out their way to ensure you are having a lovely relaxing time. They produce oil on site and gave us a gorgeous gift of olive oil as we left. It's completely delicious. The spa is WOW. We had use of the spa even though we had no treatments and it's really spectactular. So relaxing and exclusive. The area for breakfast/dinner and pool is just all very well done, feels exclusive and homely. We ate dinner there one night which is expensive, but was really delicious and romantic. We also had a snack lunch that we really enjoyed and was much tastier and reasonably priced than the options on the Costa Smeralda coast. Also the wine is great. We loved our terrace - it was so peaceful sitting out there morning and evening. The quality of the beauty products - soap etc is also great - they are all made on site. If I really had to pick out improvements, and this is purely based on the high price tag, I would suggest an improved breakfast option. The food was nice, but I have seen much more varied options elsewhere. I think there could also be more staff available during the day to serve drinks/ lunch etc. I think the sunbeds were perfectly adequate but they could be more cushioned considering the nightly hotel cost. Also, milk in the bedrooms for coffee and/or alternative tea bag varieties would be welcomed. I'd love to come back here. Thanks so much Cascioni.
